Vintage Venice

CityAM carries an article on the Palazzo Loredan dell'Ambasciatore, a 15th Century Gothic Grand Canal Palace in the Dorsoduro area between Accademia and Ca' Rezzonico, close to Campo San Barnaba and featuring private water access on the Grand Canal and a private garden available to guests of the Piano Nobile.

"...the best thing about it was its balconies — it had two, one from the bedroom that we chose that looked out onto a curve in the canal, from where we could watch the gondoliers labouring (and, rather cheesily, singing), poseurs zipping by in their little boats and even at one point an eight rowing past."

The Palazzo contains five Views on Venice apartments, sleeping from 2 to 12 guests:
