We had a great holiday. There were some lightbulbs not working in the apartment but these were dealt with swiftly. We loved the roof terrace which made for an even better appreciation of the heart of the city.

We were very comfortable during our stay at Ca Colombina. The apartment was well equipped, clean, and larger than we expcted. We were pleasantly surprized to find that we were so close to the famous La Fenice Opra House. The roof top terrace was our favorite feature of the apartment. We enjoyed sipping Prosecco each evening looking out over the roof tops of Venice. We have enjoyed visiting Venice several times in years past but our recent stay at Ca Colombina turned out to be the the most enjoyable of all our visits. So much more comfortable to come home to a spacious apartment after a day of sightseeing than a cramped hotel room.

We have an excellent stay. The apartment was beautiful and the staff were helpful. We hope to stay again during the Venice Biennale 2013!

The apartment was fantastic. It was open and spacious and well-designed, and the rooftop patio allowed us to really relax and get a feel for what it would be like to live in Venice. Also, the price was a good value. Rachel, your staff member who met us at the vaporetto stop and at the end of our visit, was very informative, helpful, and a very nice person. She even directed us to a good restaurant when we ran into her by chance in Murano. I was sorry I did not get to say goodbye to her and thank her in person as we were leaving with our luggage. The only improvements I can think of are (a) fixing the technical difficulty on payment on the website, (b) explaining that the address of the apartment does not match the street names, and (c) getting high speed online in the apartment. There was a wireless router, but it was very, very slow. We both said that we would rent that apartment for a month if it had high speed online (so we can keep up with work). We had a wonderful time in Venice, and I have already recommended your company to several friends.

Other than some difficulty with the keys to the apartment our stay was wonderful. The booking process was very easy, we were really relieved and grateful that our lack of Italian wasn't a problem because everyone on the staff spoke beautiful English.
The apartment was clean and well laid out, and the even the kitchen was well equipped. We were made to feel very welcome and certainly plan to book through Views on Venice for our next trip.

My wife Noreen. daughter Sally, son-in-law Greg and myself enjoyed three delightul days in this lovely apartment in early September 2010. The accommodations and facilities fullly met our expectations, particularly the roof deck which allowed us to enjoy the magnificent views over the old tiled rooftops of Venice including San Marco Cathedral and many other lovely bell-tolling churches. The roof deck overlooks a canal through which the hard-working Gondoliers rowed their happy clients, serenading them with delightful accordian music and Neapolitan melodies...the atmosphere was magical!! An added bonus was that the adjacent house was occupied by Mozart during his visit to Venice in 1771 and naturally I took the opportunity to play some Cose Fan Tutte through my iPod player to ensure that he was aware of our presence!!
My family members are unanimous in recommending this apartment with only one word of caution relating to the number of stairs from street level, which may present a challenge for older, infirm or handicapped travellers. We found this a small price to pay for a most delightful experience.
In conclusion I wish to thank Rachel - our delightful Views On Venice agent - who not only carried one of our bags up to the apartment, but also arranged a doctor's appointment for my wife when she developed a chest infection, met us at the door of the apartment and guided us across Venice to the doctor's office ... what service!!...molte grazie Rachel!!

Ca Colombina is a wonderful place to stay, so closed to the main interests site in venice. Very nicely furnished, a mix of modern and antiques. I'll suggest more items in the kitchen.
