Ca' Elvira

Ca'Elvira was perfect , and perfectly situated for walking all over Venice - which I did.  Do not bring a large suitcase to Ca Elvira- there are lots of stairs and no lift - but then this is a fantastic view that you are climbing to - a perch on Venice that is well worth it . The water taxi from the airport is really the way to arrive here - so simple and for leaving too.  The proximity to fresh food and markets will inspire you to  cook but there are wonderful places to grab a glass or wine , or a meal with the people who live and work in this sestiere. Look for the small and interesting places - don't be afraid to get lost - its wonderfully satisfying to figure out your way around as you find landmarks that you remember . Forget the map , follow you heart . I did and as a result I discovered the secret Venice , and cant wait to come back to discover more .

Our apartment met and exceeded our expectations.   Lounging in our apartment's high style yet comfortable interior we could easily pretend that we were a part of the beautiful Venetian scene.  It was a lovely escape from the everyday grind and so much more comfortable than a hotel.  We felt like, after a long day of exploring, we were coming home.

Two things I particularly appreciate about Views on Venice are the quality of your apartments, and the prompt, polite and helpful communications from your staff.  I feel if I have a problem, big or small, it will be answered at once.
