Ca' Cerchieri 3

What we said last week about Mezzanino is the same for Cercheri 3.  Your organization is first rate.  The accomodation and the location were superb. To have spent a week on the Grand Canal as we did far exceeded  what we we had hoped for when we set out for Venice.  Thank you all for your kind and thoughful attention.

We had a most memorable stay. Our thanks to Daniella, Irene & Annalisa for arranging everything.

I enjoyed my week in Ca Cerchiere 3 entirely, loved napping to the sounds of the Grand Canal lapping against the outer wall and sipping my evening wine to the music of the gondoliers -- they might as well have been serenading me!  The location near San Barnaba and Santa Margherita campos is terrific.  Even had a night of jazz at the club on the fondamente near where the vegetable boat is anchored, between the two campos.

In addition to my questionnaire comment, I wanted to add that we had a lovey stay at the appartment.  The position was excellent and living overlooking the Grand Canal for a week was spectacular.  We would definately return to this apartment or one of your other wonderful properties.

Dear Filippo Well, what a super time we all had in Cerchieri 3, which we have now renamed ‘our sweet little English country cottage .on the Grand Canal!’  We are all in agreement that the photos don’t show just how nice it really is – bright and cosy but with plenty of room for the 4 of us (the kids slept in the back bedroom so they could go to bed earlier undisturbed and this worked out very well) and, most importantly, as warm as toast (as we say here!) It was lovely to just sit and read or sketch in the little chair by the window with the most beautiful views and fascinating scenes just inches away (watching cormorants diving for fish and the statue at Palazzo Grassi being just two that spring to mind). Snow made New Year’s Eve rather magical and it proved so cold on the day of our departure that the water taxi was only able to take us to P.Roma (and then land taxi to M.Polo) because of ice on the lagoon – a first for us!  Hopefully we will be in touch about a break in the summer.  Just a thought - can you see the Regatta Storico from the apartment or do boats moor in front of the building and block the view? In all our visits we have never seen this but the school dates this year might make it possible. Finally we hope that you and your family also had a lovely Christmas and New Year and that things will be looking up for all of us in 2009and beyond! Ciao and with many thanks

Bethan and I have now returned to rainy England after our week at Ca' Cerchieri 3 in your beautiful city of Venice.
I just wanted to say thank you to you all for great service, once again. The apartment was wonderful and had all we needed. When it says on your website "Grand Canal Views", we had no idea of quite how stunning the location would be. We have had a really happy week there and are very grateful.

As first time visitors to Venice I found the website helpful and your selection of apartments very good. We loved Ca Cerchieri appartment - it became our little Venice home for 3 days, and the canal level view of the Grand Canal really let us see life going by! We very much appreciated the good music system in the flat. Sylvia was very helpful, especially guiding us through the first plunge into waterbuses and finding the appartment, and of getting to Venice by car.
It would be good to advise visitors to buy a vaporetto pass for the period of their stay when they first arrive. A friend had told us and it was invaluable.

Really enjoyed our stay, and we'll never forget it.

I would definitley rent with Views on Venice again. The apartment exceeded my expectation. It was adorable, well maintained and located right on the Grand Canal. It was wonderful having all of that space for the week. The staff was very nice, helpful and professional. I have already recommended Views on Venice to my friends and family.
