We loved our stay at Ca'Gondola. If Venice itself didn't entice us every day to go out & explore we could have sat all day in the apartment watching the comings & goings on the Grand Canal.

This was my first time renting an apartment online in another country. Views on Venice had a lady waiting for us just as they had promised. Being led down a very narrow, dark alley - we were filled with apprehension. But when the door opened into this beautiful studio apartment - all of our hopes & dreams came true. We felt like guests in a marble villa. Everything inside was just as shown in the photos - and more! The view of the Grand Canal = awesome. And we loved sitting out on the dock to watch the boats go by and the drama of every day life in Venice unfold. We highly recommend this studio apartment - we can't wait to return!

Since we have rented many times from Views on Venice, always having Bi-lingual Staff is a huge advantage with English being the most needed language. A special thank you to Annalisa for her on-going, outstanding, excellent service and professionalism...and to Rachela, on this trip, for her follow-up and good service at check-in on our 2 occasions this time. For my mother's 90th birthday she wanted to return to Venice and ride in an evening serenade gondola. We stayed at Ca'Gondola for 11 nights in June 2010 and the apt was perfect for our needs-a ground floor apt with a view of the Grand Canal, easy walk to the vaporotti, the Frari Church, opera house, and Scula Grande San Rocco. We probably did and enjoyed more of Venice because of this fabulous location! Oh yes, mom was in the evening serenade gondola four times, the opera twice, and just about every evening in St. Mark's Square eating gelato and waiting for all the lights in the square to turn on at 9PM. Her birhtday trip was enhanced by some great home cooking and the chance to eat and sip wine in front of one of those magnificant windows where the San Toma gondolas are shuttling back and forth, and all the activity of the Grand Canal was before us including some passing singing gondolas. All in all a perfect trip with an apt that made us feel we were at home in Venice!

We enjoyed our stay in Ca Gondola and would be happy to stay there once more. This studio apartment is among the best accommodations we have ever had. We needed a second set of keys and you were able to provide these.

Ca' Gondola was absolutely perfect. It was very central but away from the main tourist areas which we appreciated. Being right on the canal was an absolute bonus. We would stay there again and again and again

I was advised of a transport strike, and a water taxi was suggested. I hadn't been told that the Alilaguna service was unaffected by the strike. I had paid for the Alilaguna fares as part of the VeniceCard. On arrival at Marco Polo airport there was a little confusion over my attempts to "cancel" the water taxi booking. My contact, Silvia, was confused too, when I called her at the agreed time from Rialto saying that we were walking to the apartment near San Toma she was concerned that there may be some cancellation charge to pay for the water taxi service. This was discussed with Irina who checked us into the apartment and she reassured us that it would not cause a problem.
I realise that the water taxi service would be invaluable to people who arrive with a large amount of luggage but we traveled light and it was not a problem to walk from the Rialto Alilaguna stop.
We did have a lovely break and enjoyed the good weather. We would certainly use your service again.
