Another fantastic stay in a beautiful apartment. Arriving on the day of a vaporetto strike, Annalisa advised us in advanced and organised for a water taxi to bring us almost to the door of our apartment where we were met by a waiting VoV staff member who took us to the apartmetn and showed us how things worked. The apartment was beautifully clean and the Christmas Panettone a lovely bonus. Our two week stay in the spacious Ca' Dell'Artista with our teenage children ove Christmas was just wonderful. We look forward to retruning to Venice again.

The flat is cosy, exactly as described on the website, the kitchen is fully equipped, it is a highly comfortable first floor (only 12 steps to climb and in good condition) with great views of the canal and San Trovaso, composed of a lovely twin room, a convenient double room and a great suite with a good bathroom plus a social bathroom (with great red tiles). There is a dining area/kitchen plus a sitting/living area with lots of space and two sofas. The TV has lots of cable channels in many languages and there is a stereo (an extra sound system or small TV would be great in the dining area!). The location could not be better in these Winter sunny days (near Zattere boat stop and two supermarkets, Billa and Punto Sma, as well as Academia bridge and museum, Gelataria Da Nico, Laguna caffè, Pizzeria Ae Oche, a farmacy, Toletta bookshop, ...). Overall, Views on Venice renders, always, a great, pristine, perfect service, with your every query being answered swiftly and according to your needs. Our apartment was fabulous - great location, updated or new rooms, very nice furniture, modern bathrooms with showers... It basically had every amenity you could imagine! The check-in process was smooth and easy - Rachele greeted us and gave us great information regarding restaurant recommendations and even made bookings for us. Highly recommended...

You do a marvellous service -- we've stayed in two of your apartments, twice in each. We loved both of them, especially Ca'Carmini which is like staying in someone's home ... I wish we could afford it when there's only the two of us, but we stay in Ca'Carmini when there are four of us. Ca'Meraviglia is wonderful too.

This was my first time renting an apartment online in another country. Views on Venice had a lady waiting for us just as they had promised. Being led down a very narrow, dark alley - we were filled with apprehension. But when the door opened into this beautiful studio apartment - all of our hopes & dreams came true. We felt like guests in a marble villa. Everything inside was just as shown in the photos - and more! The view of the Grand Canal = awesome. And we loved sitting out on the dock to watch the boats go by and the drama of every day life in Venice unfold. We highly recommend this studio apartment - we can't wait to return!

We had a great holiday. There were some lightbulbs not working in the apartment but these were dealt with swiftly. We loved the roof terrace which made for an even better appreciation of the heart of the city.

Really a great source of apartments in Venice . Getting to the apartment the first time is difficult in Venice and they were smart in meeting me at the water bus . The apartments are perfect as others in my group rented and were equally pleased.

Beautiful flat, furnished in antique style and equipped to a very high standard in a great, non-touristy location.
One minor suggestion for the owners: put a small CD player and a few classical CD's (Vivaldi, baroque collections etc) in the flat. It would have been wonderful to have played Vivaldi while making breakfast each day (we tourists like that sort of thing.......) Excellent service from the whole VoV team, from the initial booking (where we needed a non-standard length stay and VoV office responded quickly and efficiently), to the chase-up/collection of the final payment, to the meeting and greeting at the apartment.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience and will use your company again.

Ca' Pisani was everything we expected and more... it has the most spectacular views of any Venice apartment. Not easy to get to... many steps so pack light.... but once there it is magical. It was the 6th time we booked with VOV. The apartment was the best we ever had: situation, equipment, air conditioning/heating-everything was perfect. It is modern but has ""charme""in the good sense of the word, the view on San Trovaso church and the mostly quiet campo is great.

What fun to live as a resident of Venice, if only for a week - however I was concerned - would Views on Venice deliver on their promise?
They did - ABSOLUTELY - shear professionalism from the moment I booked through check-out. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photographs and immaculate. Transportation arrangements perfect despite my flight being delayed - the private taxi was waiting for me. Rachele kept in touch via text regarding both arrival and my checkout time. She was amazing - warm and exact. She gave a full introduction to the apartment and to the surrounding area. I felt that support was always at hand if I needed it during my stay.
I had visited Venice before staying at a top hotel - however my experience with Views on Venice surpassed that stay. I did live as a Venetian - and as one with a beautiful view to boot - exquisite! Thank you to Rachele and to all those at VoV for a memorable and unique vacation!

I Loved, loved Giudecca and the house was fantastic. The only problem was that the third floor was not made up and we were three folks and the description had said three sleeping areas. However, your staff corrected the problem quite quickly and then all was great!!! I'm wondering if I could rent the same house for a month or two next year and what would the costs be. Is it better to be there in the Spring for weather or the fall? We had fantastic sunny days and no rain but there were still lots and lots of tourists. Would later in October still be nice but with less people. I was so glad tto be on Giudecca to get away from the mobs.

I stayed in this apartment a few years ago and remembered how much I liked it. I have visited Venice many times over the past ten years, sometimes using apartments, sometimes using hotels but this is my favourite place to stay. It is in the centre of the city but staying there is still quiet and peaceful. We were met by Annalisa who was lovely and who remembered me from my last stay. We enjoyed shopping at Billa and Rialto market, and also enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The only thing I didn't like was the non-stick pans but this is a personal choice. Only one suggestion: we were met at Sant Angelo but this seems to be a complicated way to the apartment. Santa Maria del Giglio was much easier to find, and the route from San Marco is easier still. Thank you for another lovely stay in Venice.

Our apartment met and exceeded our expectations. Lounging in our apartment's high style yet comfortable interior we could easily pretend that we were a part of the beautiful Venetian scene. What a wonderful apartment - the website pictures don't do it justice. There are fabulous views on three sides (the Giudecca canal to the front, San Lazzaro degli Armeni to the rear and a view of the front of Redentore out of the side window! The balcony is more spacious than it looks on the website.
There is also a small rear balcony and of course the exclusive use of the altana. Balcony chairs are comfortable and mattresses available for the beds on the altana. We spent hours watching the views and the busy waterway traffic on the Giudecca canal.
The apartment is very comfortable for 2. The sitting room is spacious and the bed room is a good size The kitchen and bathroom are on the small side.
When evaluating the fairly pricey rent it probably helps to attribute a sizeable chunk to the priceless views. Comfortable couch. Loads of TV channels (mostly in Italian, a few in English). Owners' pictures, ornaments and lots of books give a homely feel. Bed and pillows a little hard (must start bringing my own pillow!). Website suggests exclusive use of iron and washing machine but these are actually communal and located in laundry room on ground floor.
VOV were very efficient in all aspects of process. The rep (Rachele) arrived promptly at the appointed time for check in and check out. When we called on the Monday to report a number of lights not working she had them fixed before we returned in the afternoon. It's a good idea to check that everything is working properly at check in on a Saturday since the office doesn't open until Monday morning.
Kitchen is well equipped with cooker, micro wave and a large fridge/freezer.
There is an electrical load issue - when we used the microwave and oven at the same time it tripped the circuit breaker located on the ground floor. We also had a minor problem with ants (on the third floor!) but we did a blitz on them and were then more fastidious about leaving any kind of food or morsels around. Probably our fault being from a cold climate (UK). The water also blows hot and cold when taking a shower. We pointed out various items that required maintenance to Rachele and were pleased to see that the comments were welcomed and would be passed onto the owners.
Detailed operating instructions for cooker, micro wave etc would have been good. Also more details on local shops - locations & times etc.
Would we go back? Unreserved yes!

Our group of five really enjoyed our stay at Ca' Ai Putti. The 3-bedroom flat was perfect for our needs and the location was excellent - we could easily walk to locations in the Accademia and Zattere areas and were near Campo San Barnaba and Campo Santa Margherita, with lots of restaurants. The apartment was nicely decorated, well equipped, and clean, and fully lived up to the website photos. It was also helpful that someone met us at the vaporetto stop and guided us to the apartment when we first arrived, since we did not yet know our way around the city. We would use Views on Venice again for future visits to the city.

This was our second stay at this particular house and as expected it was just as good if not better than last year.
The position of the house is fantastic, just off the Campo S Margarita and a short walk from Ca' Rezzonico vaporetto stop.
One of the reasons we returned was due to the excellent service of the staff at Views of Venice, nothing is too much trouble for them, makes the holiday all the more relaxing.
The only suggestion I can think of is that an electric kettle would be very handy!!!!
We will certainly return and have no hesitation in recommending Views of Venice.

Wow... great service! You were so very flexible when I realized I had made a mistake in dates for my reservation, and readily accommodated the change. We arrived three hours early and your representative quickly adjusted, meeting us within within 30 minutes. Only thing you might change is a very tough one... hours of Sunday masses change frequently at churches, and it's hard to keep your booklet current. Hours listed for San Stefano, the closest church, didn't match what we found there. We think Views on Venice does a great job, and would gladly recommend them to our friends!

Our stay in Venice was wonderful. Renting an apartment is definitely the way to go, especially with kids. It made us feel at home. Having a bigger, more comfortable place than a hotel room to go back to in between explorations allowed us to enjoy the city at a more leisurely pace. Exceptional service and attention. We were very impressed with your friendly and professional service. We were greeted at the water taxi stop and escorted to our apartment. The apartment was spectacular--it far exceeded our expectaions! Rachele and Valentina were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had every creature comfort in the apartment, recommended outstanding restaurants, and even forewarned us of a public transit strike announced for the day of our departure, then checked on our train for us, and arranged a private water taxi so we could make it to the train station. We loved the single serve coffee maker and the welcome bottle of Italian wine! Your friendly service and outstanding staff were the simply the best! Thanks so much. I stayed for almost 4 weeks in Ca Fenice1. I loved it very much because of where it is, because it is perfectly furnished with lots of options to make it feel like home, loved the double-glazed windows giving me the option of quietness, because everything I need (and more) is been provided for (maybe the pans have to be replaced as people scratched them) and because the girls at views of Venice are very helpful, friendly and nice. I'm looking forward to my next stay in two years time.

I would definitely book with Views on Venice again, and will refer you to any friends traveling to Venice. Your agents were excellent. We were met at the boat stop by Lara, and she showed us to the apartment and gave us wonderful recommendations on where to eat, and things to do. We loved the area where the apartment was located and really had a magical time in Venice. Exceeded our expectations! Both Daniela and Valentina were extremely helpful, any concerns we had were immediately and successfully dealt with (we couldn't get the Wifi up and running, and someone was sent to help us). We were really impressed with the helpfulness of the staff in assisting us with planning our early-morning departure (vaporetto and bus schedules). We loved the QUIET apartment, which was very close to the bustling Santa Margherita campo, but was an oasis to return to at the end of each day. Information at the apartment from Views on Venice was also very helpful, and it was just great to know we could call if we had any concerns. 1st rate, and we will definitely be in touch for future visits to Venice!

The apartment was beautiful! I really enjoyed the location and the overall feel in the apartment. I loved the Dorsoduro area! The lady who helped me when I arrived, Raquele, was outstanding!! so helpful! I arrived by myself and she graciously helped me bring my suitcases all the way to the third floor!! to the apartment...I truly appreciate her friendliness and professionalism, not to mention her help with everything. I hope to be back in Venice again soon and I will contact Views on Venice again as I had a truly great experience because of them!

We were thrilled with Annalisa's choice to upgrade us to the Ca Pisani apartment. The bird's-eye views were truly spectacular, better than a 5-star hotel! The day we arrived, there was a full rainbow from the dining room window, and the night before we left, we experienced a total lunar eclipse from the bedroom windows! Very magical! I would suggest a new pull-out couch if one had an extra guest with them, as the existing one looked quite old and dirty. And the table in the kitchen was broken, so couldn't use that. Besides that, everything was wonderful, and we will return! Many thanks to Annalisa for being so helpful and gracious, and to charming Valentina who was there to meet us and take us to the apartment.

The appartment and its location were exactly as described in the website and we loved it. This was our second visit to Ca' Giulia and once again we were enthralled with its charm, its location and fabulous views onto the ever changing life along the Grand Canal. Shopping at Rialto markets and eating our delicious meals on the terrace made us feel as if we were the luckiest people in Venice.

For the first time in a long while, I organised a visit for 4 people in a European country on a self-help basis rather than booking an organised, package tour. I approached V on V with some caution, which was misplaced. To begin with, on request, V on V made available for me an apartment for the dates which I wanted, rather than those initially given on the website. From then onwards, all went smoothly and as planned. My contact with Danielle in the office from the UK was reassuring for one learning the V on V ropes. The local staff who met us in Venice on taking over and handing back the apartment were pleasant and efficient. I became confident that I could rely on V on V for help or support had it been necessary.
I, my wife and friends were impressed with the comfort and convenience of the apartment. Situated in a quiet place but close to restaurants and a supermarket and not far from the Grand Canal, it provided an ideal base from which to explore not only Venice's ""Top Ten"" attractions but other, less well-frequented parts of the city, where real Venetians live. I remember fondly my early morning walks to the Zattere and along it as well as down the Calle Lunga San Barnaba and beyond to San Sebastiano and even as far as San Nicolo dei Mendicoli, a charming little church.
I, my wife and friends are grateful to V on V for their considerable contribution to the success of our Venice holiday.
If the opportunity arose, another visit to one of V on V's apartments would certainly be welcome to us.

Two weeks in Paradise
We recently stayed for two weeks in Filippo's three-bedroom apartment in Palazzo Loredan on the Grand Canal, near Ca' Rezzonico and Campo San Barnaba. We were joined by another couple, and all of us marveled at the comfort and spaciousness of the apartment. It is beautifully furnished with the contemporary (the plush sofas in the living room, for example) and the antique, and it's spotlessly clean. There are enough "personal" items like leather-bound books and good paintings to give it a warm, cozy feeling -- quite the opposite of the sterility of so many rental apartments -- and there are modern comforts like satellite TV and a good WiFi connection.
Despite perfect temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s, we all had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the apartment in the morning.
The living room and all three bedrooms look out on a large, lovely garden, providing peace and quiet and a great sleeping environment (to which good mattresses and bed linens also contributed). The kitchen is small but has a dishwasher, five-burner gas stove with oven, and a full-sized refrigerator.
We prepared breakfast here every morning and had fun fixing the occasional dinner with seafood from the Rialto market. The bathrooms are modern and surprisingly large, and there is good water pressure and plentiful hot water, which is not always the case in historic buildings like the palazzo.
The location of the apartment is among the best in Venice. We've spent a total of six weeks in Venice now, and I don't think I'd stay anywhere but Dorsoduro, which is centrally located and yet outside the most heavily-traveled tourist areas of Venice. The apartment is very convenient to the Ca' Rezzonico vaporetto stop, and close to the restaurants, bars, and shops in Campo San Barnaba and Campo Santa Margherita. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to the Billa supermarket on the Zattere.
I think the description and photos on the web site accurately portray this apartment, but they can't capture its sense of spaciousness or the existence of small details (like the wealth of closet space, complete with an abundance of hangers) which help make this such a special rental. Nor can they capture the courtesy and gracious hospitality of Filippo, who made sure that every request (such as another large Moka) was immediately taken care of. Altogether an enchanting apartment and a perfect host in the most enchanting of cities!

We were very comfortable during our stay at Ca Colombina. The apartment was well equipped, clean, and larger than we expcted. We were pleasantly surprized to find that we were so close to the famous La Fenice Opra House. The roof top terrace was our favorite feature of the apartment. We enjoyed sipping Prosecco each evening looking out over the roof tops of Venice. We have enjoyed visiting Venice several times in years past but our recent stay at Ca Colombina turned out to be the the most enjoyable of all our visits. So much more comfortable to come home to a spacious apartment after a day of sightseeing than a cramped hotel room.

The apartment was exactly as pictured so there were no surprises. The representative who met us in Venice and showed us to our apartment was a great source of local information and she gave us some excellent tips on getting around and the best places to eat.
The apartment was well fitted out with all of the appliances and utensils we could need. The only addition that would have been welcome, would have been a toaster, but that is a very minor quibble and we did well enough without one.
We will be recommending Views on Venice to our friends and will certainly book with you on our next trip.

We have just returned home after the most wonderful week in Venice, spent in the apartment Ca' Romantica. A lovely apartment - which you had not ""oversold"" in your description on your website. We were virtually living outside on the roof terrace, if it wasn't too hot - when we were at ""home"". Dorsoduro is the most lovely area of the city, and I just love that, when you have gone to the next door baker on the first morning, and after that had your first stop at the Ai Artisti (also next door) for an espresso dopio, both are ready with the ""same"" when you arrive next day, and the day after and.. ;o) We will recommend the apartment - and your services to our friends, because you are good - and professional, and we truly believe that we know a bit about that, as we both have a background in the travel trade. We had a wonderful stay, and all staff at VoV were so friendly, professional, and prompt in response to our queries. We had a couple of minor problems in the flat: a bathroom tap was broken and the main kitchen/lounge light switch was also broken but VoV helped fix the tap straight away (we only notified VoV of the light switch at the end of our stay as it was not too bad at the beginning and we didn't want to bother the office more). There was quite a bit of construction near the building, and we were very grateful that VoV offered to move us straight away when we informed the office, although we decided to stay where we were in the end because we liked the flat. We had a truly amazing visit to Venice and we loved the flat and the service by VoV was outstanding. Ca' Dello Squero was exactly as advertised! Facing the last gondola boatyard inside Venice (aboslutely no noise), and so close to the Academia and the Grand Canale. In addition, a great thank to Annalisa who was so kind in answering our questions on the phone when booking. And the service was so perfect (changing 2 broken bulbs within half a day of our requests - what a great quality of service). I also want to mention the Art Blue Caffe, at Campo Santo Stefanno especially. Walter lost his Visa card (Unknown to us, it had slipped out of his pocket and fallen to the ground.) The next morning, as we passed the Caffe, the staff stopped us and returned the lost Visa Card. The waiter had recalled who had sat at his table and recognized Walter as we passed by. The food is excellent, too.

Ca San Sebastiano is an excellent apartment in an excellent location. The canal and the street below the apartment are a bit busier than we expected after reviewing the photos, but that turned out to be a very nice thing, as there is a restaurant, a cafe, and a supermarket within a minutes walk.

Valentina was incredibly helpful on our arrival. She provided us with some personal suggestions for restaurants which proved to be excellent and fun. Her suggestions about time to allow for certain places of interest and when best to visit them during our week in Venice were much appreciated. She knew the area we were staying in, and helped us to immerse ourselves in Venetian life from the first evening.
I strongly recommend Views on Venice. Staying in an apartment as a family was a much better experience than staying in a hotel would have been. The apartment was perfectly positioned and equipped, really characterful with a fabulous outlook on our own canal, silent at night (a shock for us as we live in London), and less than 10 minutes walk of a number of bars with great views over the water to Guideca.

The Views on Venice apartment rental process was exemplary. The website is well designed and followup by email and phone was both prompt and helpful. We felt very well taken care of, being met Sunday afternoon on the boat from the airport and taken to the apartment with a lot of very helpful advice and ideas. The apartment was fantastic. It was open and spacious and well-designed, and the rooftop patio allowed us to really relax and get a feel for what it would be like to live in Venice. Also, the price was a good value. Rachel, your staff member who met us at the vaporetto stop and at the end of our visit, was very informative, helpful, and a very nice person. She even directed us to a good restaurant when we ran into her by chance in Murano. I was sorry I did not get to say goodbye to her and thank her in person as we were leaving with our luggage. The only improvements I can think of are (a) fixing the technical difficulty on payment on the website, (b) explaining that the address of the apartment does not match the street names, and (c) getting high speed online in the apartment. There was a wireless router, but it was very, very slow. We both said that we would rent that apartment for a month if it had high speed online (so we can keep up with work). We had a wonderful time in Venice, and I have already recommended your company to several friends.

Ca Canal is a lovely apartment and I would happily stay there again and recommend it to others. The master bedroom is very comfortable, and the apartment is flooded with light on a sunny day. Rachele was also a pleasure to deal with, and we felt very welcome.
If I were to suggest improvements, I would say that most people thee days are looking for apartments with wifi, and the website ought to make it clear whether this is available. (We were delighted to find that we could access Wifi in Ca Canal, but we didn't know until we arrived, so we spent a lot of time researching other ways to get online in Venice and almost purchased a Vodafone gadget at the airport).
Another very small thing - it would help if the kitchens contained a knife sharpener, as we had trouble finding a sharp cooking knife, to chop vegetables with.

Other than some difficulty with the keys to the apartment our stay was wonderful. The booking process was very easy, we were really relieved and grateful that our lack of Italian wasn't a problem because everyone on the staff spoke beautiful English.
The apartment was clean and well laid out, and the even the kitchen was well equipped. We were made to feel very welcome and certainly plan to book through Views on Venice for our next trip.

We got married in Venice and many of our friends and family came over for the ceremony. 12 of us stayed in three properties and each and every one of us were delighted with the rooms, atmosphere and standard of customer service. My wife and I will come back to Venice every year for our wedding anniversary and we'll definately stay with Views on Venice.

We were greatly impressed with Views on Venice and with Ca Cerchieri Terrace. The quality of the apartment was first class. The website did not lie - the apartment was cosy, comfortable and elegant. The views were magical. The service provided by Views on Venice was also first class. Thank you to everyone for giving us such a wonderful experience.

We felt really taken care of and enjoyed the apartment. Rachel was very helpful. We would definitely use you again. Our only comment would be that perhaps you could have a small welcome pack of Tea Bags/Coffee, Milk, Cheese bread etc for convenience on arrival. Hope to see you again soon. Matthew

I hope to book another stay with Views on Venice. Ca' Della Frescada was just so cool.
The VOV team was helpful, courteous, and responsive to all my questions and requests. I will most certainly recommend this service to friends.

We stayed in Ca' Cerchieri Mezzanine from the 3rd to the 8th of January 2011 for my 60th Birthday celebration. What a stunning apartment this is. It is cosy warm and spacious all at the same time. Elegant and wraps its arms around you - you don't want to leave. Rachel welcomed us, very helpful and a lovely lady. Silvia sorted out extra keys for us when needed. We have met Silvia before when renting Ca'da Rose - she is great fun and a lovely lady too. You have such great such staff !!! Views on Venice couldn't be more helpful and professional - we would never book with anyone else. All in all a fabulous holiday in a great apartment. So quiet at night, great baths, showers. Comy sofa's. The history of Venice is all aound you in this Palazzo - which oozes history - We will be back very soon Take Care.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and Rachele waited for us at the Vaporetto stop. She guided us to the apartment and gave us all necessary information for our stay. - We felt at home immediately. We highly appreciated that coffee and tea, oil, vinegar and salt were available in the kitchen. It was a great stay - and we will certainly come back.
