Ca' Rendentore 4 was a great place to stay in Venice, and it has probably got the most spectacular view from any apartment in the city. You had not oversold the apartment in any way - neither in pictures nor words. There is even a small terrace on the south side, which was a regular suntrap, and which you had not written about. We virtually lived outside on the terrace looking at the everchanging vista on Giudecca Canal.
If you have a ACTV-Card you can easily board the Vaporetto and in 5 minutes you'll be at the Zattere or St. Marco and can do your shopping, but we ended up getting most of our provisions on Giudecca.
The service from the V-O-V team was again excellent - friendly and efficient, even when you had to move us from our original rental, and we highly recommend your services.
After we have sent this questionnaire we will be requesting a holiday in Ca' Redentore 4 in '14, and that in it self must be the ultimate recommendation. We must come back. :-)

The Ca' Regina apartment exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures indicated. The apartment is located on the top floor of a nice palazzo. It is quiet, well-decorated, well-stocked, clean, conveniently located between St. Marks and the Rialto bridge, and has great views from the windows and lovely rooftop terrace. Roberta met us initially and for the final checkout. She was excellent...was waiting for us when we departed from the water bus, thoroughly explained all the amenities in the apartment, left a notebook of information on sites, restaurants, grocery stores, etc, and also was on time for the check-out. I will definitely utilize Views on Venice for future stays n Venice and will recommend to my friends.

Over the last 7 or 8 yrs I have rented exclusively from Views on Venice. The service is beyond excellent, and all of the employees are so very accommodating., Everyone is very helpful and makes sure that all details are attended to with great efficiency. I will continue to use this fabulous agency. The rates are also reasonable and the properties are very well suited to comfortable living.

There are many rental companies offering rentals in Venice but Views on Venice does seem to have an outstanding portfolio of properties to suit a wide range of tastes and budgets. I doubt that we would even bother to look elsewhere on our next visit having had such a good experience with V on V. Thanks again for your contribution to a memorable stay..

As I have told my friends and family, my experience with Views on Venice was outstanding! Truly the best rental service company I have found in the US or abroad.
Annalisa, Rachele, and Valentina were all very responsive, friendly, and flexible. When we arrived at 20,00 Saturday at the Venice airport, we communicated with Rachele via text messages, and she helped us get to the apartment. She also provided us with coffee, milk, bread, and jam for our first night. -Very thoughtful and nice! And the apartment itself was lovely.

Ca Canal Terrace was a charming apartment with an excellent and convenient location for walking to and visiting so many locations of interest in the city, especially La Fenice. Still, it was in a quiet enough location to retire from activity and relax. Our contacts at Views on Venice were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I wouldn't hesitate a moment in using Views on Venice again.

Ca Vitturi was everything we expected and gave us a excellent base from which to explore Venice. We chose it for the location which proved just right, quiet yet within a few steps of the bustle of San Stefano. It was very easy to get everywhere from there. Everyone at Views on Venice was very helpful, especially Valentina when we messed up our arrival. This was our first experience of an apartment holiday and we're hooked. We will return soon. We have done several similar bookings. And we give you rave reviews. Not only was the apartment what we expected, it was better. Only thing...it didn't have a microwave... So instead of rating you 120 per cent would have been 150!!!! Excellent regardless. Wish you were wherever we are going next. Will put a comment on trip advisor and try and give more detail as soon as I can. Valentine wa particularly great with the meet and greet. A real asset to your company.

We will certainly come back to Venice thru your agency as we deeply appreciated the availability and kindness of Daniela (booking), Valentina upon arrival and departure as well as Rachelle. The accomodation was very well located and in the same time very quiet with a so lovely private garden. Also very clean and well furnished. However, some parts need to be repainted (main bedroom). Despite this small inconvenience we will for sure stay again there. Very kind regards to all of you

VOV is the only agency I'll use for Venice: I trust everyone working there to give me what I need at the best possible price, plus things I hadn't anticipated such as BREAKFAST SUPPLIES and LAUNDRY SERVICE. I can't rave enough about the level of very personable service provided each and every time, in every circumstance. It is very appreciated by a working mom of 2 young kids, who just loves to come to Venice whenever I can.

We had an apartment over New Year's last January. We often stay in apartments in Europe, not only beacuse we usually travel with our girls, (so we have to have a separate bedroom for them) but we also enjoy being in the neighborhoods for a more local flavor. We had a fabulous experience in Venice in your apartment, It was just a bit outside the busy section near San marco, but was incredibly convenient both for the vaporetto and for walking to most sites.
We cooked news year's eve dinner in the apartment, so that alone shows how well equipped the apartments are. Your representative, Rachelle, was not only a dish but incredibly helpful. She helped us book a boat for 8 to cruise the inner canals, but when the captain was late, she
called the company. She is a great asset to your company and we are very grateful for all of her help.
Finally, your company's guidebooks in the apatrment were incredibly informative and helpful. In short, we have stayed in some really terrific apartments in Europe but we felt that VOV provided the best location and customer support we have experienced.

Ca' San Sebastiano really is the lovely apartment you imagine from the website photos, spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. And one of Venice's few supermarkets is just a short sprint through the campo below to the Zattere, and further on from that is an unimprovably good pizzeria (Ae Oche), and the famous gelateria Nico -- wonderful when there are children in your party. The vaporetto stop is even closer, at the foot of the San Sebastiano canal, upon which the windows of the apartment look at (the back windows in the bathrooms have keyhole views across the higgledy-piggeldy tiled rooftops of Dorsoduro. It's a peaceful side canal, but turn the other way out of the apartment and turn right immediately at the first bridge and you're on a long straight road down to Ca Rezzonico (where you get the airport water bus -- 7 mins walk from the flat, with just one bridge to negotiate with luggage) on which are no fewer than five really good places to dine, and a few good cafes too (around Campo San Barnaba) for panini and spritz. Beware though: everything in Venice feels painfully expensive at present for Brits, especially if you haven't been there for years (like us)! That is not the fault of Views on Venice, of course: and I have to say that they are flawless and that the whole process from selection through to departure is seamlessly well organized and all the staff seem amazingly helpful, happy, punctual and efficient. There cannot be a better way to stay in Venice than via VoV.

My husband and I stayed at the property from March 25th to the 29th with our two children. We were joined by our two dear friends who ended up extending their stay until April 2nd. I don't think we could have picked a more perfect location. Being in the S.W. corner of San Marco puts you close enough to the most popular attractions without being trampled underfoot by tourists. This location gives you easy access to the Accademia bridge which opens you up to exploring all of Dorsoduro. We walked all over Venice and only took the water taxi to see San Giorgio. Within a block or two we had lovely local restaurants, wine shops, bakeries and of course gelato shops.
To live in Venice (even for a few days) is a surreal experience.
This apartment is in a historic building with tons of character and charm.
Along with this comes every luxury of the 21st century. The kitchen is well appointed and we had glasses for wine as well as prosecco - nice touch! The beds were very comfortable and the addition of a bathroom for each bedroom made living easy. On our last night we even experienced "aqua alta". It was truly an adventure as we made our way to St. Mark's Square late in the evening to see it under several inches of water. The ever prepared Venetians don't even flinch and continue with business as usual. I can't imagine going to Venice and not staying for a few nights so you too can experience the real Venice!

The apartment could not have been in a better location. On a quiet side street with several good restaurants, but just 15 minute walk to all the main sites. We traveled with our friends and their two teenagers and we had plenty of space. With six people, it was especially nice to have 3 bathrooms! It was wonderful having a kitchen for breakfast and snacks. The support and information provided were top notch. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Views on Venice for a great holiday!

The stay at the Palazzo was part of a three days event organized by Enrica Rocca. The event and the organization was flawless. I know it is easy to go down the list and tick everything as 'excellent', but this really was the case - I cannot fault a single thing. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations (and they were high!). Before arrival, the help and assistance offered by the Views on Venice Team was second to none, and the flowers requested by my husband for the apartment were beautiful. To be met on arrival by Filippo as well as Lorenza was the first of many special moments. The Ca' Cerchieri Piano Nobilewas a dream come true for me; the furnishings were comfortable as well as being exquisite - and of course the location and views were absolutely stunning. We have been to Venice numerous times in the past and stayed in different hotels and private rental apartments, but will definitely use Views on Venice for our future visits.

The website gives an incredibly clear picture of the apartments both visually and in terms of the text, backed up by an excellent group of staff that are there to answer your questions in a timely manner and ensure the whole process runs very smoothly. What's not to love? We stayed in the apartment for two weeks, and it was a delight. The two bedrooms were ideal for a couple with a lot of luggage and the two bathrooms were a real luxury! All the VOV people we dealt with were amazing, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was very quiet, with a beautiful garden on one side and a small canal on the other, and we enjoyed having the occasional boat putter past! Because it was winter and there had been very high aqua alta activity before we arrived, we had to step over the understandable precautionary low barrier at the front garden door, but we quickly got used to it. Everything about the apartment was great, one of the best we've experienced, and we'd be back in a heartbeat.

The perfect stay in the perfect apartment. wonderful welcome and support throughout. The felt is beautifully designed and feels traditional whilst providing all the comforts you need , even in December! The area is wonderful with the Calle lunga S. Venice is beautiful when it is not invaded by tourists and that is why I chose December.
I like to experience a city with the spirit of those who live there, I do not want to be part of that category of tourists who only follows trends. I have carefully chosen an apartment and this seemed appropriate for me and my family: my wife and two daughters aged 11 and 14 years.

The guy who greeted us was very good, but I do not remember the name.
He gave us all the advice we wanted and was very helpful.
The apartment is 50 meters from Piazza San Marco, a true Venetian design, modern and glamorous at the same time ....
The round bed was a blast and the glass staircase made me realize that in Venice there are good architects. Too bad that you could not use the balcony because it was cold even though my daughters went there often to watch the gondolas passing the canal under the building.

Ca' Bellini was just superb, it is really a ""View On Venice"". We have visited Venice many times and always stay in an apartment (second time with Views on Venice but another apartment Ca' Fenice) Ca' Bellini apartment is almost unique, as the living room has windows all along the north side 6 stories up in the air. A virtual Crows Nest of visual delight.
Each morning we where treated to the wonderful view of the Strada Nuova just below, the Cannaregio and St. Marks districts of Venice spread our before us like a Persian carpet, and the snow caped mountains that border Italy, Austria, and Switzerland in the distance.
Truly Priceless.

We enjoyed our holidays in Venice and the choice of renting an apartment vs. hotel was very good. The booking process could have been smoother at first, but once we had agreed on the way forward, everything went very smoothly. Taxi arrangements were perfect and we were awaited at arrival. I cannot praise Views on Venice highly enough. We were met by a very friendly Venetian who gave us a full briefing on the apartment and gave some great suggestions about places to eat. I chose this apartment so I could shop at Rialto market and cook at home and it met my expectations entirely, the kitchen being well equipped with everything once could need. Of particular note were the most comfortable bed and pillows of any place we stayed in five weeks travelling in UK and Europe, fantastic bathroom facilities and good heating system.

We recently stayed at Ca' Regina and had a fabulous vacation in Venice. The apartment was amazing and its central location made it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The trip was made even more memorable by your arrangements for the private taxi from the airport and the water taxi to the apartment. It made our arrival and departure stress free and a true luxury experience. It is worth the extra cost and should be offered on your web site as a standard welcome and departure package. We still have the memories of our first trip to Venice and having to drag our luggage onto the Vaporetto and then a long distance to our hotel. Being dropped off of the private taxi on a small canal very close to our apartment was wonderful and really started the trip off right. And using the same service to return to the airport took all the worry away about whether we would arrive at the airport on time. Rachele did a great job of escorting us and gave us some great recommendations for rest aurants that we loved. We also appreciated the help we received when we could not operate the TV. It was handled quickly and efficiently. My only major suggestion for Ca' Regina is that the shower on the main floor needs a soap dish in the shower. We had to put the soap and shampoo on the floor of the shower and had to keep bending down to pick it up. Also, your guidebook in the apartment was a wonderful resource. Since you couldn't take it out of the apartment it made it hard to use it to find good restaurants. It would be nice if you had a small guide with the restaurants by district that we could take with us on our walks around the city. The guide is fine if you want to make a decision in the apartment and make a reservation, but we found ourselves wandering in different districts and wished we had the guide to find a place for lunch. We had a lovely stay and will be using Views on Venice to return to our favorite city and will also recommend your services to all our fri ends and family.

Excellent apartment, very clean and as described. Kitchen was well equipped and the basics. Location was perfect, close to vaporetto stops, restaurants and cafes. Area was away from tourists and crowd. The folder of information at the unit was used much, and a thoughtful touch.

The apartment was actually bigger than the listing pictures. Great location, we could get to everything fast, but were on a very quiet street. We hung out at the cafe around the corner every morning, and on Saturday a wedding came bursting out of the church, then all the guests went to I'm guessing the church hall for a celebration and the food smelled so good we contemplated being wedding crashers, but our Italian is not so good and we didn't have a gift for the newlyweds.... We enjoyed our time at the apartment very much and recommend it highly.

Our only suggestions would be (especially for the english!) - Duvets instead of sheets and blankets, some cushions on the sofa, some plants on the terrace and some milk in the fridge!

And a short walk to what I think is the best Piazza in Venice, Piazza Margaretha. One suggestion is to mention the plug in mozzie zappers that were in the desk draw that we didn't fing till we were packing up.

Ca del Teatro was in an excellent position near Palazzo Grassi and the vaporetto stops, as well as a 5min walk to Accademia and a short stroll over to San Marco. The apartment was beautifully decorated, the Altana perfect for a afternoon relax. The huge bathtub and personal showers were a joy to have and the little deli/market downstairs was perfect. It gave us the perfect week in Venice and we recommended the lovely services of Views on Venice to anyone. Even our Venetian friends were lost for words. We received an advanced warning from Rachel about public transport strike from Rachel and she organized a water taxi for us (although it was a bit dear @60eu, it saved us time and worries). The apartment is lovely and has the best equipped kitchen of any holiday home I have ever rented anywhere. The view over the canal is charming. It is a shame that the view from the kitchen over the neighbouring garden is very disappointing in comparison - perhaps you could convince whoever is responsible to clear up their patch. We went to Alla Stoffa (one of your suggested restaurants) and had our best meal of the week there - highly recommended. I would definitely book with you again if returning to Venice - high quality accommodation and an excellent service.

We stayed at this great place for four nights in Sept 2012, with two children. The management agents "Views on Venice" were wonderful from the booking arrangements to our departure. We arrived at night to Venice airport. On the advice of Views on Venice they booked a private water taxi that picked us up from the airport area. It was brilliant. The kids thought 'James Bond' was driving and it was one of the highlight of the trip to see Venice at night this way. We were meet at the Zattere vaporetto stop by an agent of Views on Venice who took us to the apartment, gave us all the information we needed and made sure we were ok before leaving. was perfect. It is in the Doroduso area of Venice, which is quiet and not too crowded, exactly what we wanted. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms fantastic, kitchen had everything it we needed, the air conditioning worked and was very quiet and the wifi worked well. We had such a good time, we are already planing our next trip to Venice and will certainly choose an apartment from Views on Venice. The apartment was lovely, very clean and spacious and the bathroom was a joy. The kitchen was well equipped and we bought fresh shellfish, lobster and crab from the Rialto market, which was just 2 minutes walk away, as well as a wonderful profusion of fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs. The store holders were very generous with their recipes and always took time to explain the cleaning and cooking of anything I as not familiar with. Views on Venice were very prompt in answering my email queries and very flexible about check-in check-out times, so our holiday was NOT marred by attending to those sorts of details.

I have been to Venice 6 time before (it is my favourite place in the world) but this time was certainly special! My family and I came to celebrate my 30th birthday and we have usually always stayed in hotels in Venice.
The Apartment was immaculate!!! So clean and tidy with everything you need! The Terrace is beautiful and allows you to soak up the Venetian atmosphere!
Rachaele who greeted us was lovely!! She showed us where the best supermarkets were and really helped us with our plans to see Burano/Murano and of course a tour of the appartment.
We all really felt like the locals a definite home form home! Ca' Canal Terrace is in a great location but so peaceful and quiet only the occasional singing Gondoliers with accordions and the church bells.
All of the above made my birthday so special!! We are already thinking of booking next year!

I have nothing but praise and enthusiasm for Views On Venice, having just returned home after my third experience with a VOV apartment. As on the previous occasions, everything went like clockwork - the apartment (Ca' Meraviglia, which I also stayed at in 2010) was a 'home away from home' and everything was provided to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Valentina was most welcoming, and I was right in being confident that my visit to Venice this year would be as happy and memorable as the previous ones.
I have recommended VOV to many friends, and would not consider booking through another company.

We loved our time in Venice, having the apartment made us feel like locals. The location was fantastic, we felt safe and having someone meet us at the water bus stop and walk us there whilst imparting local info was fantastic! We would defineately recommend you to anyone.

Ca' Vidal was a wonderful rental with beautiful views. The service provided by Views on Venice was exceptional. They arranged for a water taxi both to and from the airport, had someone meet us at the flat and left a booklet filled with information. We would definitely use View on Venice again in the future

The whole Views on Venice experience was excellent. The lady who met us, Lorenza I think her name was, and apologies to her if that's not correct, was very friendly and helpful. She explained everything about the apartment and provided all the useful information from supermarkets to sight seeing we needed to know. The apartment was in an excellent position close to the Rialto Bridge and more than met our needs. We dropped into your office to mention a couple of minor points that needed attention when the apartment was serviced on our departure but the lady there insisted they came and fixed them straight away. She also printed a ticket for us we'd booked online and needed a paper copy of. It would be hard not to enjoy a trip to Venice but ViewsOnVenice but the whole experience that bit more memorable. We have been bringing our family to Venice regularly for the last 14 years so know it well, and always love it, but this visit was made extra special by staying in Ca' Delle Vele. The apartment and its amazing views was superb and the location, in our opinion, could not have been better.

Ca' Cerchieri Terrace was perfect! Every window had a water view and gazing over the rooftops of Venice was truly magical. Watching the Grand Canal come to life every morning was so much fun! The location of the apartment was perfect for seeing all the sights in Venice. The apartment was so spacious; the decor was elegant but still felt warm and comfortable. Everyone at Views on Venice was so helpful during our stay, it made our time there absolutely wonderful. We have booked with Views on Venice in the past and look forward to planning our next holiday rental with VOV. Thank you so much!!

This stay vastly exceeded our expectations. The apartment was even better than described; lovely and spacious and perfectly comfortable, with windows opening right onto the grand canal. The communication between Anna and us upon arrival was seamless, and she welcomed us as our taxi arrived. I am not so easy to please, but based on our experience I would give VOV my highest recommendation.

I would like to thank the team for their assistance and their kindness. I highly recommend the Views on Venice services and choice of apartments. Our stay was fabulous, the apartment was even better than described on the site. The altana is out of this world with great views! The interior design was beautiful. Great location! I would suggest a couple of things: add ventilation in the toilet and shower upstairs. Humidity and smell might become a problem. Also change the chairs on the terrace, 2 or 3 are already falling apart. This can be dangerous. Thank you again and we will recommend your services to our friends and will use your services again in 2 years for the 40th anniversary of the Vogalunga.

Our second time around at Ca' Romantica - and it was just as excellent this year. It felt like coming home. Your service from ""booking to the end of our holiday"" was great, as we had learned to be expected.
The apartment is perfectly located and and was in perfect ""shape"". This year we rented the extra room by the altana for 4 nights for family guests. It was really nice and well equiped, but it was expensive.
The new information book you have made was very impressive, and is probably the best we have seen ever.
So - we must come back, and will book our next visit as soon as possible. ;o)
