Situated on the first floor to the rear of the property and overlooking the Palazzo's very special and lovingly manicured formal garden (as featured in the hardcover book 'Secret Gardens in Venice' by Gianni Berengo-Gardin, Cristiana Moldi-Ravenna and Tudy Sammartini), Ca' Bernardo sleeps up to six guests in spacious, air-conditioned and well-cared for accommodation imbued with a relaxing sense of warmth and comfortable familiarity generously seasoned with the style and romance of the 18th Century.

The apartment is light, bright and dotted with fine period pieces and comprises a spacious living / dining room overlooking the garden and featuring a beamed wooden ceiling, traditional Venetian terrazzo flooring, ample seating and classically elegant decoration. There's a well-equipped and fully-fitted kitchen, again with terrazzo flooring, plus three comfortable bedrooms - a spacious master suite with garden views, wooden flooring, a king size bed and an enchanting 'minstrels' gallery' (tailor made for acting out that much-quoted scene from Shakespeare!) and two further double bedrooms, both nicely decorated and both with twin beds which can be made into doubles (please ask when booking).

The two tiled bathrooms - one with a Jacuzzi bathtub and the other with a shower, plus the availability of a washing machine, complete the scene.

Fine and comfortable palazzo living with super garden views and Venice at your feet!

Ultra-convenient for the vaporetto system for travelling the city and the 'Traghetto' at Ca' Rezzonico, which during operating times, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to San Samuele and the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art which directly faces the Palazzo.

Within very easy reach of a fine selection of bars, restaurants and shops including the Punto Supermarket just moments away at Campo Santa Margherita and the fruit and vegetable barge moored canal-side at Campo San Barnaba.
