It has a spacious living/dining room, a compact and well-furnished kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and large walk-in wardrobe and a narrow spiral staircase leading upstairs to the romantic sleeping gallery with double bed.

The terrace with lovely views over the surrounding gardens and rooftops gives this property that extra-special edge and offers an unforgettable added dimension to your experience of the city.

Located in a highly desirable area of Venice much favoured by academics, artists and writers, the apartment is only one small bridge away from a number of much loved Venetian ‘institutions’ including the renowned ‘Cantinone Gia Schiavi - Al Bottegon’, a perfect venue for a spritz and some prize winning ‘cicheti’ and ‘Lo Squero’, one of the best gelateria in the city – their pompelmo (pink grapefruit) flavour is a revelation!

OUR COMMENT

A super apartment in one of the nicest areas of Venice. Only a short walk to the Zattere, a wide waterfront along the southern edge of Dorsoduro where Venetians love to stroll, pause and take in the striking views across the Giudecca Canal. Also close to a number of recommended restaurants, including ‘Taverna San Trovaso’, and to views of the ‘Squero San Trovaso’ gondola boatyard, the oldest in Venice.
