Exquisitely tasteful and with decor and furnishings expertly co-ordinated in delicate ice-cream shades of ivory, pistachio and dusky rose, Ca' Bellini is on the top floor (with lift). It comprises a very comfortable living/dining room with traditional Venetian 'terrazzo' flooring, elegant lighting and large picture windows running the entire length of the room, affording the most spectacular views over the rooftops, Santi Apostoli bell tower, the gondolas on the 'Rio dei Santi Apostoli' canal, the 'Strada Nuova' and the surrounding private gardens*.

There's a compact kitchenette with low ceiling (well furnished and designed along clean, uncluttered lines), a modern stylish bathroom decorated in soft and attractive damson tones with shower and an elegant and very restful bedroom with double bed, also with a low ceiling. The apartment has a washing machine for added convenience and air-conditioning to further enhance the comfort of guests during warmer weather.

OUR COMMENTS

A delicious and very romantic property, in a super position for exploring the sestiere of Cannaregio and for accessing other parts of the city. Within very easy reach of a number of well-reviewed osterie and restaurants (including 'Alla Vedova', 'La Cantina', 'Vini da Gigio', 'Al Vecio Bragozzo', 'Osteria La Bottega ai Promessi Sposi' and 'Casa Mia'), two supermarkets (a 'Coop' and a 'Billa') and the shops of the Strada Nuova. Hop onto the nearby Santa Sofia Traghetto which, during operating hours, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to the colour and vibrancy of the Rialto Markets (Tues-Sat a.m. only) and the atmospheric alleyways of the San Polo district.
