A bright and tastefully decorated open-plan apartment for two in a super area just behind the Church of Santa Maria del Giglio (Our Lady of the Lily), close to the Campo of the same name and a very short walk from the Grand Canal. A very popular apartment amongst our clientele and excellent value for money. The apartment is attractive, light and airy and is situated on the second floor. As well as being located in one of the most prestigious parts of the city (close to the luxurious Gritti Palace Hotel), it offers superb wide canal views from its elegant and tastefully decorated sitting and dining area as well as from the double bedroom. The kitchen area, which is also a part of the main room, is well equipped and the bathroom features a shower. Ideally placed for visiting the Teatro La Fenice closeby (reopened in 2004 after an 8 year and 60 million euro reconstruction) - highly recommended whether attending a performance or taking advantage of the tours available. For those interested in hitting the shops, the fashionistas’ paradise - otherwise known as Calle Larga XXII Marzo/Salizada San Moise - with its high concentration of upmarket Italian designers, is virtually on your doorstep and leads directly into the heart of the city, St. Mark’s Square. Or perhaps your visit will coincide with one of the open-air antique markets occasionally held in Campo San Maurizio just steps away from Ca’ Del Giglio.
