A highly desirable and newly renovated two bedroom/two bathroom apartment in the garden of Palazzo Falier, a beautiful and very distinctive 15th Century Grand Canal palace steps away from Campo Santo Stefano, a minute to the Accademia Bridge leading to the Accademia Academy of Fine Arts and approx. 200 metres to Palazzo Grassi museum of modern art and the vaporetto stop at San Samuele.

Delightfully positioned, Ca’ Delle Rose sits overlooking the internal walled garden of the Palazzo on one side (a part of which – the pretty paved and gated courtyard with its own garden furniture directly outside the apartment’s entrance - is for the sole use of Ca’ Delle Rose’s guests*) while its own private water door onto the tranquil little canal known as ‘Rio del Duca’ sits on the other - ideal for arriving unruffled and in style by water taxi!

The apartment is furnished and decorated with verve and great taste and comprises a spacious living room with access onto the courtyard, a fully fitted kitchen with dining area where you can savour your meals overlooking the canal, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower, a small second bedroom with twin beds (which can be made into a double – simply ask when booking) and a second bathroom with bathtub.

White beamed ceilings and the crisp, cool colour palette used throughout lend a very fresh, modern yet homely appeal to the apartment, emphasised by very characteristic Venetian ‘terrazzo’ and marble flooring and the availability of air-conditioning - little wonder it’s such a popular choice!

OUR COMMENT

A bright and tasteful apartment with a courtyard within the garden of a notable Grand Canal palazzo. Located in an exclusive area of the city home to a number of antique shops, galleries, restaurants, wine bars and cafes but which also caters to the needs of everyday life with its grocery/delicatessen, wine shop, newsstand and pharmacy. A splendid combination.
