A classic Venetian apartment in a first-class position on the peaceful island of Giudecca, offering spectacular views over Venice and sharing the waterfront with Palladio’s Church of the Redentore, the luxurious ‘Hotel Cipriani’, the recently opened ‘Bauer Palladio Hotel and Spa’ at ‘Zitelle’ and well-informed Venice connoisseurs enjoying the island’s easy-going lifestyle.

Situated just three minutes by boat across the Giudecca Canal from Dorsoduro’s Zattere promenade and only five to St. Mark’s Square, the apartment is an excellent choice for guests wishing to unwind in an authentic ‘Venetian’ area yet who’d still like to take advantage of the countless sightseeing opportunities that Venice has to offer.

Decorated and furnished with taste and quiet elegance, Ca’ Giudecca is spread over 3 floors. On the bottom floor there’s a comfortable twin bedroom with beamed ceiling while on the floor above (up one small flight of stairs) there’s a well-decorated living area, a spacious dining room with kitchen, an elegant double bedroom with marvellous views and a bathroom with shower.

On the last floor there’s a mezzanine sitting area with beamed ceiling and two sofas, a further room with a double sofa/bed and an additional bathroom with shower.

Soak up the views captured in paintings by John Singer Sargent, Canaletto and Turner to name but a few and watch as the ever-changing light dances on the Giudecca Canal, transforming its waters into myriad greens, blues, purple-greys and silvers – and all from the comfort of you very own ‘home’.

Once well-known for its palazzi with gardens and now for its authentic and true ‘Venetian’ feel, Giudecca boasts a number of restaurants ranging from the beautiful canopied terrace of ‘Harry’s Dolci’ and the sophisticated restaurants of the Hotel Cipriani, to those offering simpler and more modest dining and prices to match. Or if you’d prefer to dine at home then it’s easy to stock up on groceries at one of Giudecca’s small stores or the local COOP supermarket, just a short stroll away near the vaporetto stop at ‘Palanca’.
