Wonderfully placed for visiting the districts of San Marco and Dorsoduro and just around the corner from the popular meeting place of Campo Santo Stefano, scene in days gone by of public spectacles (including bullfighting!) but which thankfully today is home to the more sedate and appealing pleasures offered by its cafes and restaurants.
