Often called Le Grand Hubert, the iconic French designer behind Audrey Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s dress would spend several months of the year in the 16th-century Venetian palace in the Dorsoduro quarter.

Givenchy died two weeks ago, but a glimpse of his opulent lifestyle lives on in the home which still boasts his handmade fabrics.

He sold the three-bedroom flat 10 years ago after owning it for a decade.
