A characterful and warmly welcoming sitting / TV room in cool ‘salvia’ sage green, the colour contrasting beautifully with the wooden timbers overhead, traditional terrazzo flooring underfoot, and a deep crimson-velvet ivory-piped sofa set before a mixed media on canvas artwork by Elia Valentini (student at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia) entitled ‘Grande Blu 1, 2025’ and purchased at the recent charity auction for Avapo Venezia

A spacious free-flowing open-plan dining room / kitchen space in deep pinky-red terracotta overlooking the west-facing Campo Incurabili to the fore, with beams overhead, fabulous wooden herringbone parquet flooring underfoot, a well-equipped contemporary kitchen in white (with washing machine / dryer) where you can crack open the Prosecco or rustle up a storm (if cooking with the super-fresh local ingredients is your bag!), plus a dining suite hosting 6 guests to the side and just the spot for some convivial downtime where you can all share stories of your Venetian adventures!

**Note that the Accademia Galleries close to apartment Operetta will be hosting Marina Abramović’s historic solo exhibition ‘Transforming Energy’ (6 May 2026 – 19 October 2026) during the Venice 2026 Art Biennale. She will be the first living woman artist to be honoured with a major solo exhibition at the Accademia in its 275-year history


OUR COMMENT

A charming apartment championing pared-down Venetian appeal in one of our absolute favourite parts of town!

A short stroll to Campo San Vio on the Grand Canal and the Palazzo Cini Gallery to the west, the Church of the Salute and the Punta Della Dogana Center of Contemporary Art to the east, and close to a great choice of eating places and bars including Ai Gondolieri, Lineadombra and Ristorante Riviera for fine dining, and the popular Osteria Al Squero, Corner Pub and Cantinone Gia Schiavi for spritz and cicheti.

An easy walk to 4 vaporetto (water bus) stops – Zattere Spirito Santo, Zattere, Salute and Accademia for easy travel around the city (note that St. Mark’s Square can be reached by vaporetto from Salute in under 5 minutes on Line 1!), to 2 Conad supermarkets – one moments away just behind the Zattere Spirito Santo vaporetto stop and the other at the western end of the Zattere – and to the traghetto at Calle Lanza / Calle del Traghetto San Gregorio which, during operating hours, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to the traghetto stop beside the Gritti Palace in the district of San Marco.

Also within easy reach of the Alilaguna boat stop connecting the Zattere to Venice's Marco Polo Airport.


Please note that the operation of air-conditioning and heating are subject to municipality regulation. In general, heating is available from mid-October to mid-April, while air-conditioning is available from mid-April to mid-October. Please contact us for further information.

For arrivals between 8 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organise arrivals between midnight and 1 a.m. with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.

Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. The possibility of turning a double bed into twins or vice versa can be found in the description and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival.

Mitte des Jahrhunderts zeitgemäß umgstaltet und dem Rio Terà dei Saloni - einer wunderbar evokativen und friedlichen, von Bäumen gesäumten Allee, die die atemberaubende Uferpromenade von Zattere mit dem glitzernden Canal Grande verbindet – zugewandt, bietet die Wohnung Ca' Delle Vele Platz für 4 Gäste in einer charakteristischen Umgebung mit rauen Holzbalken, Eichenparkett und samtige Marmorino-Wände.

Nach Westen ausgerichtet und hell - besonders nachmittags und am frühen Abend - bietet diese vollklimatisierte und mit WLAN ausgestattete Wohnung im 1. Stockwerk reichlich Komfort und Stil in gleichen Maßen sowie ein entspanntes und gemütliches Ambiente, das maximales Urlaubsvergnügen verspricht!

In einer Gegend, historisch berühmt für die einst hier zu findenden Salzlager, ist die Wohnung Ca' Delle Vele nur einen Steinwurf von der Peggy Guggenheim Collection entfernt sowie von der Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova, dem Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst Punta Della Dogana und der Gondelfähre "Traghetto", die den Canal Grande ins Sestiere San Marco überquert und sie umfasst:

In dem Wohnzimmer sind auch 3 hohe Balkontüren mit Zugang zu einem langen Balkon vorhanden, Balkon mit Blumenkästen und Ausblick auf den herrlich ruhigen Rio Terà dei Saloni* und den kleinen gotischen Palazzo aus dem 15. Jahrhundert gegenüber, mit der Uferpromenade von Zattere und dem Giudecca-Kanal sichtbar am südlichen Ende!

• Eine moderne, rational und gut ausgestattete Küche / Esszimmer an der Seite mit einem Essbereich für 6 Personen

UNSER KOMMENTAR

Ein charmanter Platz, ja ein Zuhause, in einem idyllischen Ort, wo die Zeit Generation nach Generation stillzustehen scheint…

Ein sehr kurzer Spaziergang über den weiten Rio Terà dei Catecumeni zur prächtigen Votivkirche Santa Maria Della Salute mit atemberaubendem Blick auf den Campanile in San Marco… und friedlich gelegen (außer während der 'Festa Della Salute', die am 21. November jedes Jahres stattfindet** - siehe unten!)

Nur wenige Schritte vom beliebten kleinen Café / Imbiss bekannt als 60/40 entfernt - perfekt für einen morgendlichen Cappuccino und Gebäck, einen frisch gepressten Saft, ein gefülltes Brötchen oder ein erfrischendes Eis oder 3! (Hinweis: Nur eine Handvoll Barhocker verfügbar) - und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den Accademia-Galerien und -Brücke (und dem VOV-Büro!), dem Palazzo Cini Gallery und einer Vielzahl von Restaurants und Bars entfernt, darunter Linea D'Ombra , Ai Gondolieri und Ristorante Riviera für gehobene Küche und Corner Pub, Osteria Al Squero und Cantinone Gia Schiavi für Panini / Cicheti und Spritz.

Ein malerischer Spaziergang am Wasser entlang bis zum Conad-Supermarkt am westlichen Ende der Zattere und in der Nähe von 4 Vaporetto-Haltestellen (Zattere Spirito Santo, Zattere, Salute und Accademia), um die Stadt zu erkunden (beachten Sie, den Markusplatz kann mit Vaporetto von der Haltestelle Salute in weniger als 5 Minuten mit Linie 1 erreicht werden!)

Auch nur Augenblicke bis zum "Traghetto" in der Calle Lanza / Calle del Traghetto S. Gregorio, das während der Betriebszeiten Passagiere mit der Gondel über den Canal Grande zum Stand neben dem Gritti Palace Hotel im Stadtteil San Marco bringt und nah an der Alilaguna-Bootshaltestelle, die die Zattere mit dem Flughafen Marco Polo in Venedig verbindet.



** Eine der bewegendsten und beliebtesten aller venezianischen Veranstaltungen. Jedes Jahr am 21. November pilgern die Venezianer zur Pestkirche Santa Maria Della Salute (Heilige Maria der Gesundheit), um zur Jungfrau Maria zu beten und Kerzen anzuzünden, während Gondolieri ihre Ruder gesegnet bekommen. Eine Pontonbrücke wird über den Canal Grande von Santa Maria Del Giglio zur Salute gebaut und die riesigen Türen der Kirche werden für die Stadt und ihre Besucher geöffnet, während in der Nähe von Salute etliche Stände mit Kerzen, Luftballons und allerlei süßer Versuchungen belegt sind!

Bei Anreisen zwischen 20:00 und 22:00 Uhr. Bei „verspäteter Anreise“ fällt ein Aufpreis in Höhe von 50 Euro an, der bei der Anreise in bar zu entrichten ist. Wir organisieren Anreisen zwischen Mitternacht und 13 Uhr mit einem Aufpreis von 100 Euro. Danach behalten wir uns das Recht vor, den Kunden immer mit einem Zuschlag zu akzeptieren, der je nach Ankunftszeit zu beziffern ist.


Die Betten werden entweder als Doppel- oder als Zwillingsbetten aufgestellt, wie auf den Fotos gezeigt. Die Möglichkeit, ein Doppelbett in Zwillinge zu verwandeln oder umgekehrt, ist in der Beschreibung zu finden und muss mindestens 7 Tage vor der Ankunft angefragt werden.
