It serves to be aware of housing conditions in Venice. Here, 60 steps to climb, fairly tight shower down a flight of stairs, and quirky guest toilet. Obviously, this is the price to pay to feel immediately like a local!

Although I realize it's not "green," but having one roll of paper towels and a box of kleenex would prevent staining the linen dishtowels and bathroom towels when wiping up coffee dripsremoving make-up. We will certainly book again with you on our next trip, maybe even before 2 years! Wondering if you offer concierge service? One suggestion for improvement might be to supply a pint of milk and some sliced bread, Butter, some eggs - so that on arrival guests can make tea/coffee with milk & an option to eat without having to go out to a supermarket before they do anything thing else. We recently stayed in a self catering Windmill and the owners did just that. ALL of the comments in the Guest Book refers to the wonderful welcome of milk, eggs, bread....Just a suggestion. Thank you we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Views on Venicethe apartment.

Just want to recommend the company and the flat . All conforms to the description . No bad surprise , really good company who managed also our Taxi boat reservation. I would book again.

Apartment itself was very high spec, and the roof terrace is wonderful - great views of the sun setting over the Basillica & Campanille di San Marco. Would definitely like to stay again.

We requested that they turn on the A/C several hours before our arrival to make sure the apartment was cool, and Fredricka made a special trip to do so. The beds were super comfy. Our host gave us specific instructions for getting a water taxi upon our arrival. Fredricka was waiting for us when we arrived at the apartment and gave us a very thorough tour and explained everything to us. Our hosts booked a water taxi for us from the apartment to the airport. They were very responsive every time we messaged them. They even went so far as to mail our WiTour equipment back for us! We will stay at this apartment when returning to Venice

We had a wonderful stay at Ca' Del Pittore, a charming little apartment just far enough from the beaten path to make for the perfect experience in Venice. The views from the altana were enjoyed by everyone and the space has been converted in a most clever way. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning highly effective, which turned out to be quite important during our stay. My only complaint might be that the kitchen was a bit understocked. We were no more than a 7 minute walk from Saint Mark's Square, but there were none of the oppressive crowds in our neighborhood. Shopping and transporation nearby. Do not hesitate to visit this flat. Just be prepared for a few steps to get there!

Upon arriving in Venezia, we were a little disappointed that the vaporetto (number 5.1) that VOV told us to take to the apartment went around the back of the island (via Canale Scomenzera) and did not transverse the Grand Canal as we were looking fomehr anzeigen
Upon arriving in Venezia, we were a little disappointed that the vaporetto (number 5.1) that VOV told us to take to the apartment went around the back of the island (via Canale Scomenzera) and did not transverse the Grand Canal as we were looking forward to enjoying the ride through the city as is customary when one arrives in Venice I'd recommend taking the number 12 vaporetti instead which takes longer but is much more enjoyable. Once we arrived at the San Zaccaria stop, the VOV rep, Cristina, promptly met us and led us on the 5 min walk to the apartment in the less touristy Castello area. Once in the building and through the somewhat dreary entrance area, the apartment is on the top floor with no lift. This was not a problem for us but could be an issue for elderlythose with heavy luggage. What a wonderful space here, very interesting floor plan with lots of character! Bedrooms and kitchen are brightly lit with natural light from the windows. All very clean with a surprisingly large master bedroom. All beds and bedding were very comfortable my daughter even said the pull out single bed she slept on in the living area was great. There's also a great roof deck with excellent views over the city. The apt has a wonderful well-equipped kitchen with a large table that served as a gathering point for my family of 5 (more so than the living area). The clothes washer worked well and came in handy after 5 days in the Cinque Terre. Also, it was hot our first day in Venice and the A/C worked great throughout the entire apartment. The apt is close to San Marco (5 min walk) but far enough away from the maddening crowds of cruise ship tourists A brisk walk took me across the Academia bridge to the Dosudoro within 20 mins. Very good local restaurants nearby and a good supermarket with everything you need for a full mealjust a snack (fresh produce, bread, cured meats, cheeses, beer/wine, etc). We experienced some minor plumbing issues (downstairs shower drain was slow, kitchen faucet loose) but, overall, I highly recommend this apartment for familiesa group of friends for a wonderful stay in Venice. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We have only wonderful things to say about Views on Venice! Things began well with a smooth transfer from the airport via private water taxi to our front door, where we met Giacomo, the representative who explained everything about the apartment. Thmehr anzeigen

Things began well with a smooth transfer from the airport via private water taxi to our front door, where we met Giacomo, the representative who explained everything about the apartment. The apartment itself, Ca' del Pittore, was absolutely marvelous as beautiful as the pictures, much larger than I expected to find in Europe, and certainly big enough for two couples. It could have slept 6 easily. The staff was responsive to our questions during the week. But they really outdid themselves when our traveling companion left her expensive camera on the bus to the airport on our way home. VoV staff were able to retrieve it from the bus company and keep it at their office until our friend could arrange to get it shipped to the U.S. I really can't say enough positive things about Views on Venice! Anyone thinking about renting an apartment there should have absolutely no second thoughts about dealing with this company.

The warm atmosphere with the open views of the roof construction is really unique. Also with cold temperatures outside it was possible to heat well the living room. In the generally well equipped kitchen we missed a few good pots for cooking which were furnished generously by VoV. The supermarket closeby provided us with excellent products. The New Years Eve firework just in front of us was great !

In an enchanting location overlooking one of the prettiest canals in all of Venice, a bright and classic two bedroom apartment situated in a tranquil position right next door to the Convent of the Eremite and opposite one of the most historic and well-known restaurants in the city, ‘Locanda Montin’.
Ca’ Canaletto on the Rio Delle Romite (sometimes known as ‘Rio Dell’ Eremite’ or ‘Canal of the Hermits’ in English) offers air-conditioning and plenty of flexible living space with tasteful, well furnished living and dining areas overlooking the canal, a fully fitted kitchen and a second living area with a double sofa bed.
It has a large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and a separate shower, a second bedroom with twin beds (which can be made unto a double - simply ask when booking) and another bathroom with shower.
The two bedrooms are quiet, comfortable and highly appealing and overlook the neighbouring gardens.
Peaceful, though certainly not isolated, the apartment is but a minute’s walk from the gentle activities of a thriving neighbourhood - take a short stroll down the alleyway opposite, with its little illuminated shrine and enticing air of secrecy, before suddenly arriving onto the Fondamenta Toletta, a charming street of bookshops, bar, gelataria, ATM and the canalside tables of the small, but highly popular, ‘Enoteca Ai Artisti’.
Also within a minute of the fine restaurants of Calle Lunga San Barnaba which leads directly to the delightful Campo San Barnaba and then onto the Ca’ Rezzonico vaporetto stop and the highly impressive Ca’ Rezzonico Museum of 18th Century Art, with its commemorative plaque to the poet Robert Browning, directly shouldering the Grand Canal.Are you part of a larger group who would like to stay close together but in separate apartments? Ein fröhlicher Sonnenstrahl im ersten Stock mit Blick auf den Kanal 'Rio di San Polo' und eine Brücke, auf der streifenhemdige Gondolieri die Tageszeit verbringen und ihren alten Geschäften nachgehen; das warme und einladende Ca' Dei Nomboli bietet Komfort und Eleganz in all seinen geräumigen Innenräume.
Die stilvoll mit Farbtupfern präsentierte Wohnung besteht aus einem großen und halboffenen Wohn- / Esszimmer, das mit einem Cocktail aus tropischen Früchten aus spritzigem Mandarino, pikantem Pompelmo Rosa, saftiger Limette und schmakhaften Mango dekoriert ist und mit hohen Fenstern mit dekorativen Balustraden mit Blick auf den Kanal eingerichtete ist.

Sehr gut gelegen zwischen Rialto im Norden (mit seinen berühmten Lebensmittelmärkten und dem Labyrinth der Gassen) und dem Sestiere Dorsoduro im Süden (mit seinen breiten Fondamente, Antiquitätengeschäften und Galerien) und nur zwei Gehminuten von der Frarikirche aus dem 14. Jahrhundert entfernt, Campo San Polo und die atemberaubende Scuola Grande Di San Rocco gefüllt mit Tintoretto Gemälden.
Nur Augenblicke bis zu einem gut sortierten 'Billa'-Supermarkt und einer großen Auswahl an Restaurants zum Essen daheim oder Essen gehen und nur einen Steinwurf von der Vaporetto-Haltestelle und der Traghetto-Gondelfähre in San Toma am Canal Grande - ideal für Ausflüge (während Betriebszeiten) zu den "must-see" Attraktionen des Stadtteils San Marco und darüber hinaus.
Bei Anreisen zwischen 20:00 und 22:00 Uhr. Bei „verspäteter Anreise“ fällt ein Aufpreis in Höhe von 50 Euro an, der bei der Anreise in bar zu entrichten ist.
