Situated on a peaceful Dorsoduro calle leading to the narrow Rio de Toresele canal where once there stood a squero (boatyard) many, many moons ago, each charming Lo Squero apartment promises a perfect base in Venice for couples, solo travellers and groups of up to 9 when booked as a whole.
‘Hidden in plain sight’ just moments from Campo San Vio**, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the dazzling Zattere promenade, and boasting Wi-Fi connection and a washing machine in each, the fully air-conditioned apartments are spread over 3 floors of the property (one per level) and include:

Accessed via its own private doorway on the delightful ‘Corte Nostra’ at the front of the house, this utterly delicious little apartment sleeps 2 (+1) and comprises:
Shared with neighbouring properties – a picture-perfect and romantic typically Venetian hidden courtyard, filled with a plethora of potted plants including flowering oleander and sago palm, and furnished with Lo Squero 1’s own garden table and chairs for enjoying a Campari spritz in the sun or shade
A bijou and very pretty ‘Positano-meets-Venezia–style’ open-plan main living room looking onto the courtyard and comprising a sitting area with a single sofa bed and a dining area/well-equipped kitchen complete with full oven and table for 4
A bright and beautiful master bedroom lovingly presented in seaside colours, with a double bed, an ancient fireplace (no longer in use) plus walls attractively adorned with a collection of seashells and wood-carvings

A Venetian casetta that’s sure to make you smile, just tucked away on Dorsoduro’s ‘Museum Mile’…
A short amble to the iconic Church of the Salute, the Accademia Galleries and Bridge (and the VOV office!), the Palazzo Cini Gallery, plus the Punta Della Dogana Center of Contemporary Art, and close to a variety of fine eating places and bars including Ai Gondolieri and Ristorante Riviera for fine dining, and Corner Pub, Osteria Al Squero and Cantinone Gia Schiavi for cicheti and spritz.
An easy waterside stroll to 2 Conad supermarkets – one at the western end of the Zattere and a smaller one closer to home at Zattere Spirito Santo – and to 4 vaporetto (water bus) stops – Zattere Spirito Santo, Zattere, Salute and Accademia – for travel around the city (note that St. Mark’s Square can be reached by vaporetto from Salute in under 5 minutes on Line 1!)
Also close to the ‘traghetto’ at Calle Lanza/Calle del Traghetto S. Gregorio which, during operating hours, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to the district of San Marco, and within easy reach of the Alilaguna boat stop connecting the Zattere to Venice's Marco Polo Airport.
For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.

The Views on Venice hosts were very caring and thoughtful and were there to respond to any question almost immediately no matter what time of day. I would go back to the same place if I ever revisit Venice. Thank you

The location was excellent for me. The apartment is on a very quiet calle so no issues with late night or early morning noise. The small courtyard is shared with the residents whose homes also open onto the space. Not an issue just an fyi.

We have been fortunate enough to visit Venice on a number of occasions and have used ViewsonVenice every time. The apartments are always exactly as portrayed. Lo Squero 1 The Secret Courtyard is a little gem, ideal for a couple, very quiet location but close to all the sites, with a full range of facilities and a nice amount of space. Annalisa and her team couldn't have been more helpful, booking water taxis, welcoming us to the apartment and allowing us to adjust over checkout time. We hope to visit again.

This is a gem of a place, beautifully renovated, down a small alleyway - very quiet. There is a small courtyard out front to sit outside. The apartment is very stylish, lots if nice details.
