A treasure tucked away in the heart of San Marco that ticks all the boxes for a memorable Venice stay!
Within seconds of the peaceful and semi-secluded Campo and Church of San Beneto (founded in the 11th century) and the breathtakingly beautiful, ultra- atmospheric Palazzo Fortuny Museum of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo – famous photographer, painter, stage and textile designer – well worth a visit if open (usually only during exhibitions).
Also close to the charming Scala Contarini del Bovolo (Staircase of the Snail) and the Teatro La Fenice, and just a quick sidestep off the vibrant little shop-filled thoroughfare known as Calle della Mandola (Street of the Almond) connecting Campo Santo Stefano to Campo Sant’ Angelo, with the famous Rialto Bridge and district to the north and St. Mark’s Square and its myriad attractions to the south.
Within moments of the Multisala Rossini complex housing a 3-screen cinema and a large, newly re-opened Despar supermarket for stocking up on supplies and within easy reach of 2 vaporetto (water bus) stops for easy travel around the city – one at Rialto on the Riva Del Carbon and the other at Sant’ Angelo – and to 2 ‘traghetto’ services ferrying passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal (please check operating times) – one between the Riva Del Carbon near Rialto in the district of San Marco and the Riva Del Vin at San Silvestro in the district San Polo, and the other between Calle Del Tragheto near Sant' Angelo in San Marco and San Toma in San Polo.

The location is awesome. There is a full grocery store just steps away and the best sites of San Marco are only a 5 minute walk. Amir booked a water taxi for us and met us on arrival at the water taxi stop. He helped us with our bags and when we got see more

Amir booked a water taxi for us and met us on arrival at the water taxi stop. He helped us with our bags and when we got into the house he opened a map and labeled a bunch of secret sites, tips, and restaurants. We tried several of his suggestions and they were spot on.

This apartment is in the center of everything we wanted to visit in Venice. Enrica met us at the dock and arranged all transportation to and from the airport. There is a wonderful food market almost next door with great restaurants and coffee shops nsee more

And the wonderful staff was always available for to assist with any recommendations and bookings . And it’s so close to the supermarket and the shopping street that getting any amenities was a breeze . It made our Venice stay memorable!

A few steps away from the 18th-century church of Santa Maria Della Fava and close to a host of famous sights and attractions including the atmospheric Venetian time-capsule that is the Querini Stampalia, the fabulous Palazzo Grimani just off Campo Santa Maria Formosa, the Church of San Zaccaria with its crypt and wonderful Bellini altarpiece, and Vivaldi’s La Pietà on the sunny Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront…
… A short stroll towards a very sedate pace of life lived out amongst the tranquil calles, canals and green spaces of Castello with its laid-back and very genuine neighbourhood vibe…
