A few steps away from the 18th-century church of Santa Maria Della Fava and close to a host of famous sights and attractions including the atmospheric Venetian time-capsule that is the Querini Stampalia, the fabulous Palazzo Grimani just off Campo Santa Maria Formosa, the Church of San Zaccaria with its crypt and wonderful Bellini altarpiece, and Vivaldi’s La Pietà on the sunny Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront…
… A short stroll towards a very sedate pace of life lived out amongst the tranquil calles, canals and green spaces of Castello with its laid-back and very genuine neighbourhood vibe…

We loved our stay and agree with all the other positive reviews. I would only like to add that much to our surprise it was very quiet inside of the apartment. We were two couples but didn’t wake up when they showered or left early. The view is great see more

Location was perfect close to Rialto but also very close to San Marco. The view from the living room/kitchen was stunning. We really enjoyed our time at Corte Rubbi it felt very homely… we will remember this very special holiday.

It would have been nice to have a sitting room area for the family to sit around. Maybe a couch could be added to the large master room. A bit of a pity that the alleyway to the flat was smelly and dirty.

Everything was great. The washing machine didn’t always spin well, the dryer shut off every ten to twenty minutes. You could pit two comfortable chairs in front of the window in the living room so more people can sit and enjoy the view. But that’s jusee more

A short walk to the atmospheric Scuola di San Giorgio degli Schiavoni and its wonderful Carpaccio paintings, the monumental Dominican Basilica di Santi Giovanni e Paolo (one of the largest churches in Venice and burial place of no fewer than 25 Venetian Doges), and to Campo Santa Maria Formosa (site of the Querini Stampalia) passing Palazzo Grimani on the way. And even closer to home - moments to the cavernous and newly restored Church of San Lorenzo (long closed but now home to Ocean Space - a collaborative platform focusing on ocean conservation) and to the Museo di Dipinti Sacri Byzanti (Museum of Icons) just along the canal.
