Considered one of the finest in Venice and oozing history from every pore, the Palazzo itself (birthplace of two ancient Doges of Venice - Leonardo Loredan (1501-21) and Francesco Loredan (1752-62)), enjoys a truly outstanding position between the Accademia Bridge/Academy of Fine Arts and the Ca’ Rezzonico Museum of 18th Century Art/ vaporetto stop, close to Campo San Barnaba and opposite Francois Pinault's Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art.
Impeccably decorated with dash and vitality and featuring carefully selected antiques from the owner's private collection, each shown to their advantage against a complementary backdrop of sunny Mimosa yellows, vivid Prussian blues, crisp white beamed ceilings and the deep, rich patina of polished hardwood flooring, Ca' Cerchieri Mezzanine offers generously proportioned accommodation for six and is located between the first and second floors of the Palazzo (a lift can be taken to the second floor, leaving one flight of stairs to descend on foot).
It offers air-conditioning throughout plus wireless internet connection and features a stylishly elegant yet cosy and very comfortable living room with deep, luxurious sofas, interesting artwork and restful views over the owner's private walled garden, a separate dining room and a modern, well-equipped and fully-fitted kitchen.
There are three charming and quiet double bedrooms, each with garden views and each ensuring a heavenly night's sleep - two with beautifully embellished double beds and finished in cheerful colours (the master bedroom having an up-to-date en suite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower) and a pretty third bedroom with two chintz-covered single beds. The two further bathrooms (one with bathtub and the other with shower) are modern, spacious and immaculately presented. Please note that in order to accommodate a slightly larger party, access to a further bedroom (simple in design and with a single bed) is possible at a surcharge of 50.00 Euros per night.

Feels like a home from home. Excellent location on the grand canal with a garden view. Spacious and with character. Marta from views on Venice was extremely helpful in boat and restaurant reservations and always got back to us promptly.

Dorsoduro is a wonderful part of the city to stay in. Not as busy as other parts of the city but it’s easy to get from there to everywhere you might want to go. The apartment with windows over the garden was perfect for our family of five.

It is enormous...spacious anywhere but in Venice truly astounding. The hostess was very helpful, direct, knowledgeable and efficient in answering our questions and checking us in and out. The internet connection went down and it was fixed within only a couple of ours of our calling her. This is a great vacation rental. One warning: the elevator goes only to every other floor. If being able to avoid steps is an issue, be sure your unit is one that is on the landing onto which the elevator opens.

On arriving in Venice, there was a big delay at the airport but with just one quick call, the Owners rearranged everything for us to later removing any stress. We arrived by private water taxi into Palazzo Loredan's private water entrance on the Grand Canal. A magical experience. The accommodation is perfect for a group. A brilliantly well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed rooms, lovely bathrooms and views over private gardens that are so quiet and relaxing after a day in the crowds of Venice. A wonderful experience and special mention to Rachel from Views on Venice. She's a wonderful lady and a credit to her company and her country. Big thanks!

At very short notice before a long-awaited trip to Venice our accommodation fell through - and the staff from ViewsonVenice assisted us in every way even over the week-end to help organise our accommodation. Their help and assistance every step of the way was wonderful. The accommodation was at the excellent end of the scale and our family of 2 adults and 3 boys had everything we needed. We were met at the apartment, carefully shown everything we needed to have a great stay and told the best places to go four our needs. When it came to receiving our delayed baggage, the ladies in the office dealt with its delivery and followed up with us to ease every aspect of our holiday. Rachele, Valentina and all in the office - a big thank you from 5 very happy customers. We got an even better holiday than we had originally planned and could not recommend your services more highly.

AN ESTABLISHED STAR ON THE VENICE SCENE!
Taking centre stage amongst our expanding galaxy of fabulous properties - a splendid 3 bedroom/3 bathroom apartment with furnished 'altana' roof terrace offering exceptional accommodation and a carefully considered mélange of the very best in Italian styling, hand-crafted furnishings, classic simplicity and luxury fittings, all very much at home within the unquestionable charm and convenience of its central yet tranquil upmarket location.
Lovingly renovated under the watchful eye of an expert team, sleeping six and with an interior masterminded by highly respected Florentine architect and interior design company ‘ArchFlorence’ (experts with impeccable credentials, whose work graces some of Italy’s finest properties), the spacious air-conditioned apartment is on the 3rd and 4th floors and lies within the refined Venetian district of San Samuele, a central and genteel little oasis of art and antique galleries just off Campo Santo Stefano in the San Marco district of the city.
Named after the nearby former San Samuele Theatre where Casanova’s mother performed as an actress and moments from where he was born to become one of Venice’s most celebrated sons, Ca' Del Teatro has a large and impressive open plan living space combining sitting, dining and kitchen areas and featuring subtle and sophisticated colours, chic upholstery, all the latest appliances plus a modern open-sided staircase leading to a superb clear glass-sided landing overlooking the area below.
Magnificent weathered timbers given a rustic whitewash finish further emphasise the age, character and lofty proportions of the property while internet connection plus a washing machine allow for an eminently practical stay whatever the duration.
Also on this level are two gorgeous bedrooms - one in complementary shades of mocha and mulberry with double bed and mirrored wardrobe, the other a twin in lime and bitter chocolate and both with roomy and sumptuously appointed bathrooms (one with shower, the other with shower and bathtub). Move on upstairs to a further plush bedroom, this time in violet and lavender shades and featuring a richly button-backed French-size bed, moroccan style mirroring and an en suite shower room with w.c.
And to top it all beautifully, access to one of Ca’ Del Teatro’s stellar attractions - a super ‘altana’ roof terrace enjoying spectacular views towards the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and perched up on high for surveying the scene.

A class act and fantastically positioned...
...within steps of a grocery store, a wine shop and a range of cafes/osterie.....plus the gallery of interior designer Chiarastella Cattana - a discreetly sophisticated showroom of fine and distinctively woven textiles and furnishings and, for scent-lovers, the Venice outlet of the famous Florentine ‘Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’ – one of the oldest pharmacies in the world and one time fragrance maker to Catherine de’ Medici.
Conveniently close to the vaporetto stops at San Samuele and Sant' Angelo for easy travel around the city, the 'Traghetto' gondola ferry which, during operating times, carries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal between Calle Del Tragheto (near Sant’ Angelo) and San Toma in the district of San Polo.
