Nestled within the same peaceful Dorsoduro property as the larger members of our hugely popular ‘Opera’ family of apartments (see the chic Ca’ Dell’Opera Terrace and gorgeous L’Opera Divina) and bookable separately or in conjunction with either (or even both!*), this deliciously cosy new addition will be music to the ears of seasoned visitors familiar with the most desirable parts of Venice.
Freshly attired in 2025/6 and boasting creature comforts aplenty, the dainty and delightful Operetta plays second fiddle to none!
Charmingly positioned in sleepy Campo degli Incurabili, near the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Accademia Galleries** (and our Grand Canal office!) and the Zattere’s spectacular canal views towards Giudecca, the apartment sleeps 4 guests in 2 bright and cheerful double bedrooms on the 1st floor of the building accessed by stairs.

A characterful and warmly welcoming sitting / TV room in cool ‘salvia’ sage green, the colour contrasting beautifully with the wooden timbers overhead, traditional terrazzo flooring underfoot, and a deep crimson-velvet ivory-piped sofa set before a mixed media on canvas artwork by Elia Valentini (student at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia) entitled ‘Grande Blu 1, 2025’ and purchased at the recent charity auction for Avapo Venezia
A spacious free-flowing open-plan dining room / kitchen space in deep pinky-red terracotta overlooking the west-facing Campo Incurabili to the fore, with beams overhead, fabulous wooden herringbone parquet flooring underfoot, a well-equipped contemporary kitchen in white (with washing machine / dryer) where you can crack open the Prosecco or rustle up a storm (if cooking with the super-fresh local ingredients is your bag!), plus a dining suite hosting 6 guests to the side and just the spot for some convivial downtime where you can all share stories of your Venetian adventures!
A restful principal double bedroom to the rear of the apartment dressed in sunny yellow and peacock blues and greens, and furnished with a beautifully upholstered double bed with can be split into twins upon request
An equally tranquil 2nd double bedroom to the side of the apartment, also in sunny yellow and with claret-velvet upholstered twin beds which can be made into a double upon request

**Note that the Accademia Galleries close to apartment Operetta will be hosting Marina Abramović’s historic solo exhibition ‘Transforming Energy’ (6 May 2026 – 19 October 2026) during the Venice 2026 Art Biennale. She will be the first living woman artist to be honoured with a major solo exhibition at the Accademia in its 275-year history

A charming apartment championing pared-down Venetian appeal in one of our absolute favourite parts of town!
A short stroll to Campo San Vio on the Grand Canal and the Palazzo Cini Gallery to the west, the Church of the Salute and the Punta Della Dogana Center of Contemporary Art to the east, and close to a great choice of eating places and bars including Ai Gondolieri, Lineadombra and Ristorante Riviera for fine dining, and the popular Osteria Al Squero, Corner Pub and Cantinone Gia Schiavi for spritz and cicheti.
An easy walk to 4 vaporetto (water bus) stops – Zattere Spirito Santo, Zattere, Salute and Accademia for easy travel around the city (note that St. Mark’s Square can be reached by vaporetto from Salute in under 5 minutes on Line 1!), to 2 Conad supermarkets – one moments away just behind the Zattere Spirito Santo vaporetto stop and the other at the western end of the Zattere – and to the traghetto at Calle Lanza / Calle del Traghetto San Gregorio which, during operating hours, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to the traghetto stop beside the Gritti Palace in the district of San Marco.
Also within easy reach of the Alilaguna boat stop connecting the Zattere to Venice's Marco Polo Airport.
Please note that the operation of air-conditioning and heating are subject to municipality regulation. In general, heating is available from mid-October to mid-April, while air-conditioning is available from mid-April to mid-October. Please contact us for further information.
For arrivals between 8 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organise arrivals between midnight and 1 a.m. with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.
Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. The possibility of turning a double bed into twins or vice versa can be found in the description and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival.

I think that the windows could be renovated like in the kitchen, to stop noise coming from outside and be warmer inside. Also what I missed is in the bathroom to have place to put things. It was a bit difficult for me to put and remove contact lensesvedi di più

Una vera e propria "Casa dolce casa", coccola e curata, dotata di terrazza e in posizione defilata vicino a Campo Santa Margherita.
Affacciata sulla stretta Calle de la Pazienza, nel sestiere di Dorsoduro, e con affaccio diretto da un lato sulla facciata superiore della Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Carmini, risalente al XIV secolo, Ca’ Della Frutta ospita fino a 4 persone in due camere da letto recentemente rinnovate al terzo piano, accessibile tramite scale.
Prende il nome dal negozio di frutta e verdura galleggiante, un must da fotografare a Venezia, che si trova ormeggiato al Ponte dei Pugni sul Rio di San Barnaba. L’appartamento, impeccabilmente pulito, è dotato di aria condizionata* per garantire il massimo comfort anche in estate e connessione Wi-Fi e comprende:
• Una zona giorno con travi a vista, moderna e luminosa, composta da cucinino, di dimensioni ridotte ma ben attrezzato, zona pranzo e salotto, che conduce a...
• Un’ampia ed intima terrazza, piastrellata ed arredata, direttamente affacciata sulla Chiesa e dalla quale si scorge la facciata Barocca della Scuola Grande dei Carmini: il luogo ideale in cui fare colazione sotto al cielo azzurro di una calda giornata di primavera-estate o semplicemente rilassarsi (Prosecco alla mano!) dopo una piacevole giornata in giro per la città
• Un bagno moderno ed impeccabile, dotato di doccia e lavatrice
• Due camere da letto dallo stile semplice e lineare: una con letto matrimoniale, l’altra con 2 letti singoli, entrambe con pavimenti a terrazzo veneziano
IL NOSTRO COMMENTO
Compatto ed essenziale ma in posizione ideale, con tutto a pochi passi in un sestiere vivo e “autentico” della città dove residenti e studenti universitari si incontrano per chiacchierare sorseggiando uno “spritz”. Una zona ricca di caffetterie, ristoranti, bar e gelaterie che insieme creano un'atmosfera vivace e tipicamente Veneziana.
Vicinissimo ad una tradizionale macelleria, al rifornito supermercato a due piani Punto Simply, al mercato del pesce fresco e di frutta e verdura e a due enoteche che vendono vino sfuso, facilmente riconoscibili dalle damigiane, per soddisfare ogni vostra personale esigenza.
A due passi dalla Chiesa di San Sebastiano, con i suoi magnifici dipinti del Veronese, dallo splendido Museo del Settecento Veneziano a Ca’ Rezzonico e dalla fermata del vaporetto sul Canal Grande.
Vicino anche al noto Venice Jazz Club e ad alcuni dei nostri ristoranti preferiti di Venezia, tra cui: Enoteca Ai Artisti (essendo molto piccolo è necessario prenotare), Da Codroma, Ai Quatro Feri e Pane Vino e San Daniele, nel tranquillo Campo dell’Angelo Raffaele.
Se viaggiate leggeri, potrete facilmente raggiungere a piedi Piazzale Roma.

Un appartamento luminoso e arioso che occupa l'intero terzo (e ultimo) piano, in una zona vivace ai confini dei quartieri di Dorsoduro, Santa Croce e San Polo. Vicino alla Chiesa dei Frari e alla Scuola Grande di San Rocco (2 minuti a piedi), Campo Santa Margherita (4 minuti a piedi), e San Toma con il vaporetto e la gondola traghetto sul Canal Grande (6 minuti a piedi).
Ciò che rende questa proprietà ancor più speciale sono le sue dieci finestre su tre lati con una bella vista su un piccolo canale (Rio San Pantalon) e la sua eccellente posizione ... Eccellenti negozi di cibo e vino in un ambiente molto 'locale' si trovano in Campo Santa Margherita e, quando desiderate rilassarvi e mangiare fuori, avete solo l'imbarazzo della scelta con molte osterie consigliate, trattorie, caffetterie e winebar a non più di 5 minuti.
Ca’ Meraviglia offre agli ospiti tutti i comfort di casa (tra cui WiFi, aria condizionata, lavatrice e asciugatrice), l'appartamento è arredato con gusto in stile contemporaneo e vanta una grande sala principale (che unisce un salotto / sala da pranzo e cucina, arredato con un paio di divani, una sala da pranzo con 4 posti a sedere e una cucina completamente attrezzata), una camera da letto matrimoniale, una seconda camera più piccola con 2 letti singoli (che possono essere trasformati in un letto matrimoniale - basta chiedere al momento della prenotazione), più un spazioso bagno moderno con vasca e doccia finita.
IL NOSTRO COMMENTO
Un piccolo ma apprezzato appartamento in un posto fantastico, con splendide viste sul canale. Accesso rapido e semplice da Piazzale Roma a piedi, se viaggiate leggeri (circa 6/8 minuti). E per gli appassionati di cinema, molto vicino a dove è stata girata la scena di carnevale nella versione cinematografica del 2008 'Ritorno a Brideshead'.
Per gli arrivi tra le ore 20 e mezzanotte è previsto un costo aggiuntivo per “arrivo tardivo” di euro 50, da pagare in contanti al momento dell'arrivo.
