And to top it all off splendidly… a large and very wonderful furnished terrace up on high offering fabulous 360° views across neighbouring Venetian rooftops!
Important: please note that the apartment only accepts fully supervised children over 6 years of age or under 1 year (non-walking babies) because of the internal stairs and ‘altana’ rooftop terrace.
OUR COMMENT
A divine pied-à-terre with truly impressive outside space, quietly tucked away yet an easy stroll to St. Mark’s Square.
Rubbing shoulders with some of the city’s most coveted residential addresses and ideally placed for the first time or regular visitor to Venice who appreciates peaceful surroundings yet who’d like to stay close to many of Venice’s star attractions.
Within a stone’s throw of the Accademia Bridge / Galleries, and within moments of several osterie, the outdoor cafes of Campo Santo Stefano, a wine shop, a local grocery / delicatessen, plus a well-stocked and newly re-opened Despar supermarket just a little further on.
Seconds to the area’s antique shops and galleries including that of interior designer Chiarastella Cattana – a discreetly sophisticated showroom of fine and distinctively woven textiles and furnishings and, for scent-lovers, the Venice outlet of the famous Florentine ‘Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’ – one of the oldest pharmacies in the world and one time fragrance maker to Catherine de’ Medici.
Also close to 2 vaporetto (water bus) stops – San Samuele and Sant’ Angelo – for foot-friendly exploration of the city, and moments to the local ‘traghetto’ at Garzoni which, during operating times, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to San Toma in the district of San Polo.
For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.
Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. The possibility of turning a double bed into twins or vice versa can be found in the description and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival.

2 minutes from the San Samuele dock on the Grand Canal so you can come and go from there is you don't fancy walking. We loved staying at Corte Rossa Terrace and would do so again. Everything was great.

Customer service was excellent from Luca and the team. Perfect little apartment in a great location close enough to everything but also away from the crowds. Very comfortable and very nicely decorated. Highly recommend for a couple or family of 4.

Vielleicht sollte man erwähnen, dass diese Wohnung auf Grund der vielen Treppen und Abstufungen nicht für Menschen mit körperlichen Handicap geeignet ist.

The dishwasher did not work very well. We would have appreciated a dustpan and brush to sweep up crumbs etc. And one of the single beds lacked an over sheet. Would also be useful to have a drainage tray for washing up.

Un super appartamento ora reso ancora migliore!
Accuratamente restaurato alla del fine 2019 si trova al primo piano di una bella casa appena fuori il Campo Sant'Agnese nel sestiere di Dorsoduro. Si trova a poca distanza dalle Zattere (raggiungibile attraverso un breve 'Sottoportego') per fare splendide passeggiate con meravigliosi paesaggi su tutto il canale e l'isola della Giudecca e in pochi minuti raggiungere il Ponte dell'Accademia/Accademia di Belle Arti di fama mondiale e la Collezione d'arte del XX secolo Peggy Guggenheim sul Canal Grande.
Con porta d'ingresso privata e dotato di aria condizionata per il massimo confort durante i mesi più caldi a Venezia, Ca' Belle Arti ha un corridoio al piano terra (all’inizio del quale c’è una comoda lavanderia con lavatrice) e una breve scalinata che conduce direttamente alla zona giorno del livello superiore, un incantevole open-space.
Comoda e arredata con gusto, la zona giorno con connessione WiFi è composta da un salotto ben disposto con un divano e un divano letto matrimoniale, una cucina attrezzata con tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari per mangiare agevolmente e una zona pranzo con ampio salotto che fa parte della cucina. Appena fuori da questa stanza vi è una camera matrimoniale decorata di recente, luminosa e con soffitti alti, caldi pavimenti in legno e due ampie finestre che offrono molta luce, un ampio armadio e un comodo letto matrimoniale (che può essere trasformato in due singoli – basta chiedere al momento della prenotazione). La stanza ha un bagno esclusivo con doccia, nuovo e con arredi moderni.
La seconda camera da letto con letto matrimoniale è più piccola (anche se molto confortevole) e si trova in posizione tranquilla sul retro della casa, mentre c’è un bagno nuovo in comoda posizione verso il centro dell'appartamento con raffinate piastrelle di marmo, moderne attrezzature e una vasca da bagno con doccia. Un grande appartamento, recentemente ristrutturato e tranquillo, collocato in una delle più belle posizioni di Venezia.
IL NOSTRO COMMENTO
Vicino alla Chiesa dei Gesuati (Santa Maria del Rosario) e ad una grande scelta di posti per mangiare lungo le Zattere, tra cui la nota gelateria 'Da Nico', la riuscita cucina di 'Lineadombra' e Ristorante Riviera o, per qualcosa di più semplice, 'Ae Oche' con la sua varietà sbalorditiva di cibi da consumare in loco o pizze per asporto.
A due passi dall’apprezzato 'Bar Da Gino' per la prima colazione con cappuccino e per guardare il mondo che passa ed il banco di pesce fresco alla Piscina Del Forner (da martedì a sabato, solo mattina). Ca' Belle Arti si trova anche a pochi minuti dalla sonnolenta calle in cui, in una scena del classico film del 1955 di David Lean ‘Summertime', Katharine Hepburn e il suo compagno scugnizzo ridendo trovano refrigerio nelle acque della fontana del quartiere.
A due minuti da due fermate del vaporetto - 'Zattere' a sud e 'Accademia' a nord e a solo un minuto dalla fermata del vaporetto Alilaguna che collega le Zattere con l'aeroporto Marco Polo di Venezia. Gli ospiti di Ca’ Del Monastero potranno vivere l’esperienza autentica di uno dei quartieri più veri di Venezia pur rimanendo a breve distanza dalle principali attrazioni della città. L’appartamento è particolarmente comodo per chi arriva da Venezia Santa Lucia railway station e da Piazzale Roma, mentre le vicine fermate del vaporetto Riva di Biasio vaporetto stop e San Stae vaporetto stop permettono di raggiungere facilmente ogni zona della città.
A pochi passi si trova l’amato Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio, una delle piazze più affascinanti e vissute di Venezia, circondata da caffè, ristoranti e autentica vita veneziana. Ottimi ristoranti come La Zucca e Antica Besseta sono raggiungibili a piedi, così come importanti luoghi culturali quali Ca' Pesaro, Palazzo Mocenigo e la magnifica Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.
Per gruppi più numerosi che desiderano soggiornare vicini mantenendo la propria privacy, la residenza comprende anche Ca’ Del Monastero 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 e 9.
Si prega di notare che il funzionamento dell’aria condizionata e del riscaldamento è soggetto alle normative locali e ai regolamenti condominiali. Generalmente il riscaldamento è disponibile da metà ottobre a metà aprile, mentre l’aria condizionata è disponibile da metà aprile a metà ottobre. Per arrivi tra le ore 20:00 e mezzanotte è previsto un supplemento “late arrival” di Euro 50 da pagare in contanti all’arrivo. Gli arrivi tra mezzanotte e l’1:00 possono essere organizzati con un supplemento di Euro 100.
